DH is so easily pleased

Ha! We're sat out in the garden this afternoon, it's about 23 degrees and the first decent weather garden day we've had.

I got the recliner loungers out and brought a tray of olives, beer, tortillas and dip out.

37 year old DH sits in a lounger and sees the beer and snacks, claps his hands like an excited toddler and announces "Yay! Holiday!"

made me smile. 23 degrees, some olives and beer and we're transported to holiday mode.

That's lovely, enjoy the weather while it lasts.

Who cares? Can’t anyone do something nice without their spouse simultaneously having to do something productive? Do you genuinely never sit and relax unless your partner is right at that minute also sitting and relaxing?

We went to our friends last weekend for a barbecue and it felt like being in Spain. We all couldn’t stop grinning as it was lovely to see people face to face, sit down and enjoy good food and company after so long.
