Double space on your phone gets you a full stop, new sentence!

Was it just me that didn't know this?! Feels particularly useful on an iPhone where the full stop seems to be in a different page of the menu. Too excited about this!

I’ve always known this. Very handy.

Here’s another iPhone one-

On the calculator, if you mistype a number (so say 2060 when you meant 2040), if you put your finger where the numbers appear and swipe from right to left, it’ll delete the previous digit.

So 2060 becomes 206. Swipe again and you have 20 so just type 40 and you’re back on track.

If you want to write a temperature, on an iPhone keyboard you just type the numbers ie 37 and then hold down the 0 to get a ° symbol.

Thank you to the PP who said it can be switched on for android. That's useful. Now if I could just convince autocorrect I really don't have a lot of use for the word ducking..

If you press next to the time at the top of the screen it scrolls you to the top of your screen.

The clock symbol on your home page actually tells the correct time it's not just a picture of a random clock face.

If a phone is locked and you find it you can click on the home button and bottom left it says emergency. Click on that then click on medical id and it gives you the phone's owner emergency contact details.

Make sure you set up your emergency contact details.

Did you know that if you press and hold on the space bar you can move the cursor around? That's been my most recent revelation.
