Double space on your phone gets you a full stop, new sentence!

Was it just me that didn't know this?! Feels particularly useful on an iPhone where the full stop seems to be in a different page of the menu. Too excited about this!

one I learned a few months ago is that you can scan documents via the Notes app. So much easier for me to scan and email them where necessary now. smile

Oh! How?

Open a new note and hit the little camera icon. You get the option to scan documents in the menu that pops up.

I find it easier to scan one at a time and save them in separate files but you can also scan loads at once, one after the other. You just need the document flat and hold your phone steady over it while it scans but it's much faster.

Did you know you can set up 'Swype' on an iPhone? I had a Samsung years ago and swype was hands down the best thing about it.

So you can just swish your finger across the screen from letter to letter and the phone predicts the word. I do have to do a careful proof read in case it guesses a word horribly wrongly. But that's still quicker than stab typing.
