Friends reunion

I thought this was going to be completely naff when I heard it wasn't going to be an actual episode.. but having watched the trailer I'm actually looking forward to it. I just wish it didn't have James Corden.

I used to love Friends SO much, but watching it more recently I've noticed how problematic so much of it was, it's not aged very well in my opinion which is a shame as it was great for so long.

Agree, I wish James Corden wasn't in it either. Doesn't fit.

Very disappointed it won't be an episode. James Corden has kind of put me off watching it. Why do Americans like him so much?

As an aside, watching the trailer, did anyone else think "WTF have they all done to their faces". With half of them they could barely even move their lips properly 🙊

Yes!! I thought it was my iPad stretching the screen and distorting the picture a little bit that's how they actually look.

I cannot wait to see this. They do all look older.... but it was 20 years ago! What’s to be expected.

Could definitely do without lady gaga and David beckham etc being there. Maybe they’re doing it to draw in a younger audience

No.. it's a reunion show. Unfortunately. An episode would have been better. I wonder why they didn't do one? Cast or creators decision I wonder.

I always think Lisa Kudrow has aged well and doesn't look like she's had work done if you look at pictures of her.

The sets of friends were just as iconic as the show and the apartment was given up at the end of the last ever episode.

I think if it was filmed anywhere else it wouldn't be the same and come off as a bit of a parody of itself.

DH asked whether they’ve all been frozen in time earlier because they look exactly the same Grin.

I can’t watch James Corden, he just makes me cringe especially when he attempts an American accent.

Jennifer looks the worst imo.

I’m glad it’s not an episode. I never think those type of naff one off episodes live up to expectations and they’re always subject to extra scrutiny from both press and public, the storyline never answers the needed answering questions and they usually add in another cliffhanger / unanswered ending. The original friends ending, as corny as it was, wrapped up the show nicely.

I mean they moved out of the apartment. A set for a chat show doesn't really matter but in the actual story the apartment wouldn't really work.

Yes!!! They all look awful apart from lisa kudrow. I'm gutted it's not an episode 😳🤦‍♀️

I might watch the reunion, through my fingers with my hand on the remote.
