Elton had alot to do with film so wondering if its any good

I quite enjoyed it but it veers into song and dance routines at times, which I found a bit cringey.

it is a GREAT film

I loved it....I enjoyed it more than Bohemian Rhapsody, and was surprised at how many of his songs I knew.

I watched it last night and really liked it but now I can't stop singing Elton songs!

19y Dd was never an Elton fan but adores this film.

I'm in the minority then! I love eltons music, but think the film is awful!

I'm not an Elton fan, neither his music nor what I've seen of his personality are appealing to me but I found the film quite enjoyable. His version of life, obviously, but his parents are portrayed as parents nobody would wish for. Certainly felt a lot more compassion for him when I'd seen it. I'd recommend it. Free on Netflix, why not?

DC loved it, I thought it was rubbish.

The first time I watched it, it was ok, second time without DH, much better really enjoyed it. Bohemian rhapsody and yesterday though.

I didn't like it as much as Bohemian Rhapsody or Yesterday. But it's a film about Elton, full of his music and for that reason alone it's still fabulous.

I'm not a fan of Elton John, but I really enjoyed the film and it changed the way I think about him.

Hmm it's ok. I much preferred Bohemian Rapsody though!

One of my favourite films... ever!!

I watched it and thought Taron Egerton was fantastic but it felt rather too contrived for me and didn't like the ending at all. Though I am not a fan to be fair.

Tried to watch it last weekend and oh and I looked at each other in horror as some freakish song n dance routine started. We turned it off. Can't stand that sort of thing. Disappointed as thought it would just be Elton music.

I thought it was self indulgent crap - you can tell that Elton John and David furnish produced it. Such a shame, as I really like his music

I enjoyed it, but like others the dance and musical numbers threw me a bit. .

But I just accepted them and I thought the story behind it was quite moving.
