Nor enough lighthearted threads on her tonight. So, what's something that you're family has a different word for.

For example, as kids, we always used to call fuzzy slippers "muffins".

A spatula in my house is called the scrappy thing.
Tomato sauce is called red sauce.
Milk is called molky as that’s what my dd used to refer to it as, as a 1 year old.
Tv remote is the buttons.

Growing up my brother used to refer to his trousers as his longs because shorts was short and trousers was longs.
