I need to make a return, I don’t have the slips I got when it was delivered so I need to put a note in with my customer number.

Don’t have any letters with it on.
Not in any of my emails.
Asked the chatbot, said it’s in My Account - not on a bloody mobile site it isn’t! Tried to see it in desktop view, overrides back to the mobile site every time. I’ve clicked on every part of that stupid website. Please tell me there’s an easy way to find this!

It's on your statements which you can view in the app.

pinkflask · 03/05/2021 21:06

I can’t see any statements anywhere - I’ve only ever made one order a few weeks ago and paid on my card so that might be why? Unless they’re hidden somewhere!

In Account summary, scroll down a bit and statements are in the middle. Click that and it will bring them up.

simonthedog · 03/05/2021 21:09

Go on my account, then down to my statements, then view statement. Your customer number is at the top of the downloaded statement.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 03/05/2021 21:09

Do you have an account?? If you paid by debit card and not your directory account...

pinkflask · 03/05/2021 21:09

This is what I have in My Account - can’t find statements in any of those!

How do you log in? I use my account number to log in

pinkflask · 03/05/2021 21:11

I log in with my email address!

Mine is just above that

You don't need to return any slips at all. Just pop it back to the shop (or put it in the bag it came.from and take to post office) and they scan it. Each item of clothes has a unique code so they will know they had sent you that exact item.

Been with them for years.

purplecorkheart · 03/05/2021 21:13

have you the option of logging into your account via google rather than app and then select desktop version?

user1471530109 · 03/05/2021 21:13

Your account number will also be on the email they sent you with confirmation order

pinkflask · 03/05/2021 21:16

Yeah, I don’t have anything above that. Bloody hell, why is everything with Next a bit weird? I complained about some school trousers that had ripped after one wear, they told me I could send them back and re-order, I decided I really couldn’t be bothered with the faff and would just sew them up instead.

Then two days later I get four(!) separate returns labels in the post (no my customer number isn’t on any of them, that would be too easy), and a few days later two new, unrequested pairs of school trousers appear at my house, which I haven’t yet been charged for, so now I HAVE to send the first ones back, except I don’t have my packing slip or my customer number, I don’t know when the hell I’ll be able to post them but I don’t want to end up paying for two extra pairs of trousers! I wish I’d never bothered 😭

I deleted my confirmation emails once it had all arrived safely. It won’t open in desktop in Google Chrome either (tried that) and I don’t have the bag it all came in because I never send anything back!

BitchIAmFromChicago · 03/05/2021 21:18

They don’t put return slips in the bag anymore. Each item has an individual code so just send it back with the return label and they’ll know it’s yours. I’ve returned a few things recently.

pinkflask · 03/05/2021 21:20

So if I print out a Royal Mail label from the website and just stick it on the bag they’ll know it’s mine, even if it’s only two items out of a bigger order I’m returning?

OP posts:
purplecorkheart · 03/05/2021 21:20

Have you tried putting Next in the search bar of your email account. Sometimes they do not permanently delete emails for a number of weeks even if you have deleted them. Worth a try.

BitchIAmFromChicago · 03/05/2021 21:20

I would say so! Just make sure you get proof of postage.

Rina66 · 03/05/2021 21:21

Ring them, I've always found their real people very helpful. They'll use your postcode and date of birth to find you.

fruitpastille · 03/05/2021 21:21

Check your email trash for the deleted email?

pinkflask · 03/05/2021 21:22

Gah! I was hoping just to stick the label on and put it in the post box, the times I’m free and the times the post office are open are complete opposites to each other...I’m going to end up paying for infinite pairs of trousers at this rate, and I bet the new ones rip too.

LittleBirdBlu · 03/05/2021 21:23

You just log on to Royal Mail tracked returns

dementedpixie · 03/05/2021 21:24

Go into your deleted emails
They stay in your trash until you empty it

Plump82 · 03/05/2021 21:25

Delete the mobile app from your device and try and access the desk top version. If you don't have the app it can't default to that.

dementedpixie · 03/05/2021 21:25

I would never just stick a return in a post box
I often return direct to a store
