Yes Tupperware. I get that. I also remember being in Form 3 (dates self) and the person who went home for lunch coming back and telling us who was number 1 because he'd written the Top 20 announcement down off the radio of a Tuesday lunchtime and I clearly remember thinking I wonder how old I'd have to be for this not to matter to me. (20 something as it turned out🤣)

My menopausal barrell belly. I swear to God that from the front I look slim-ish, but turn sideways and I'm clearly well into my 2nd trimester. And yet my arse and thighs are skinnier than ever, I look like an apple on a stick.

Enough is enough now though, and I'm booked in for an extended tummy tuck + muscle repair + lipo in 6 days 😀😀😀

@chutneypig mine too. They have started coming through white aswell! Bit I have about three grey hairs on my head.

So annoying.

My eyes. In one year alone, I'm reduced to glasses on/glasses off/glasses on/glasses off.

Also weight gain. Cursed!

My new shrill, quavery voice when calling the dog.
And, I know its was one thing, but I've just this minute noticed this one..
Without my glasses, I can't tell where my bare leg stops and my vintage tan leather sofa starts.

Yes Cheapskate! I used to be able to do 12 hour thinky work days with no problem. Now I schedule brainwork for before 2pm and routine tasks for after that because I know I can't focus after 2pm.
Omega 3 really helps with this. I’m 58 with fibromyalgia and it works for me 👍🏻

Yep I took omega 3 for 6 months for my joints. Might have helped those but it made no difference to my brain staminaSad

Kneeling down to get something from under the sofa or bed and not being able to get back up again. I don't feel particularly sore, just as if I'm in suspended animation. I'm often tempted just to stay where I am for a while. I'm 54.

Chin hair... Started at 45. A few years ago when kids were in primary, I helped at the school summer fete refreshment stall with, I kid you not, a six inch, long hair sticking out my chin and no-one told me!

I met my friend for shopping last weekend and halfway around the shops she asked if we could have a little sit down, please, because her knees were hurting. I remember when she used to dance on tables!

My spare tyre and being tired all the time. Worrying about my health generally. Can't eat treats without putting on weight now - I used to get away with it.
Me too, feel like Michelin man; used to be able to eat anything and everything.

  • thinning, greying eyebrows
  • complexion is awful, red and blotchy on a good day
  • varifocals
  • can't shift excess weight without Herculean effort
  • aches and pains from falling asleep on the sofa every night
  • grey pubic hairs, and bald patches
  • cankles
  • the tiredness, the epic tiredness

I'm 50, and seriously past my best!

I can’t stop farting. Doesn’t matter what I eat just can’t stop. Makes my dgc laugh though.
I can’t see writing on tv even with my glasses on.

I have one of those battery operated Kegel things for my pelvic floor but it Does Not Stop The Farting.
Other than going about my business with one of those whirly football rattle things I don't know what to do about this!
I DREAD the day that a silent Year 9 class (unlikely, Thank GOD!!!) coincides with an episode of wind.
