Molke bras

CherryChapsticks · 24/04/2021 18:42

Anyone have one? I'm considering it but I want to know if they're more like crop tops and if they're the bra version of 'snag tights' which don't appeal to me at all

I'm looking for a soft, comfortable bra with support and shape and wondered if the molke might fit the bill

Thanks

They definitely look like the bra version of snag tights!

Rockbird · 24/04/2021 18:44

I'm a recent convert and absolutely love mine. It's so comfortable and I'm a J cup so not small.

PomegranateQueen · 24/04/2021 18:49

@Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep

They definitely look like the bra version of snag tights!
I have just googled and agree, sorry OP!

40 quid is a lot considering they are just crop tops.

They are not good to look at. They are comfortable, supportive and give a great shape under clothes, even if you have a large cup size. But they have leaned in hard to the 'fun!' prints.

Myneighboursnorlax · 24/04/2021 18:58

I got my first one a few months ago and now own seven and would never go back to “normal” bras. They’re nothing like crop tops in my experience, and give fantastic cleavage if you get the right size. I also love the prints, although understand why some people wouldn’t. If you’re on Facebook have a look at the Fans of Molke page - you’ll see lots of pictures from real people wearing them. That’ll give you more of an idea if they’re right for you.

SpanielPlusToddler · 24/04/2021 19:00

I really like them and don’t think they’re just crop tops. Mine are comfy, but give me good uplift and cleavage. I don’t really like the jazzy prints, so have plain solid colours, black, navy and raspberry.

CherryChapsticks · 24/04/2021 19:03

Yes I don't want to say too much about my thoughts on snag tights but I deffo get their cones when I look at molke Grin

I don't mind what they look like - but o draw a line at a fucking dinosaur one I spotted!! - but I'd like a nice uplifted shape under my top

*vibes not cones

@Myneighboursnorlax thanks - I'll take a look.

I'm about a 36E or F and a size 12-14 so be good to see how they may fit me

I had a phase of loving them, and i still quite like. They give a great cleavage, so not like a crop top. Much more supportive. Only thing i dont like is sometimes the seams, scratch me, but i am quite sensitive

The good thing about them is you can sell them on really easy and they dont lose much value

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 24/04/2021 19:07

I've never heard of them but I love snag tights so I'm off to Google

RandomMess · 24/04/2021 19:10

Don't those thick straps show under various tops? This may be a short person problem perhaps 🤔

mommybear1 · 24/04/2021 19:15

Definitely not a crop top post baby I have been living in sports bras actually yoga bras you know nice and comfortable 😁 I'm a 36HH but I could not stand to go back into an underwire painful bra so after a lot of searching went with a Molke - love it. Comfortable and supportive I'm delighted with it and will never entertain an underwire bra again 😉. I can see a definite difference in lift when I wear one I was nearly put off by the reviews they said the band curls up but I have never found that (3 months in).

Aknifewith16blades · 24/04/2021 19:16

Maybe have a look at laraintimates.com/ for soft/ comfortable bra with support. Not cheap, but so comfortable but a different vibe to Molke.

CherryChapsticks · 24/04/2021 19:24

I'll have a look at the Lara intimates too. Thanks

lovablequalities · 24/04/2021 19:24

I like mine but I don't wear them to work. I'd wear them around the house, walking the dog, shopping, even out for a coffee or lunch (back in the day...) but not to work or out out. The wacky prints are ok. I have a Dino print one and it's less annoying than I thought it would be.

CherryChapsticks · 24/04/2021 19:29

I've spent a year in the John Lewis Anya bra. Loved them so much I bought a dozen! But they're so so unflattering and crop top ish so I absolutely must take steps to buy some bras that support and shape

OP posts:
Rockbird · 24/04/2021 19:51

Bloody hell, those Lara intimates bras don't even give the models a good shape. They're hideous.

SquigglePigs · 24/04/2021 20:03

I got one when I was pregnant (HH cup) and I absolutely hated it. It was difficult to get into, gave me an awful shape and wasn't even as comfy as it claimed. I have a nice soft non-underwired Luna nursing bra instead and get on with those much better.

BestestBrownies · 24/04/2021 20:08

I want to like these, but they’re just so fugly Sad

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 24/04/2021 20:09

They are so ugly.

MrsPnut · 24/04/2021 20:12

I was a JJ cup before surgery and the Molke bra was the only non wired bra I would leave the house in. I found it useful when I had to go for scans etc.
I’ve bought two more, one black and one white, for when I can stop wearing my surgical bra.

ArtfulScreamer · 24/04/2021 20:13

I'm currently pregnant and bought one a few weeks ago, I've worn it a couple of times but I can't say I'm feeling the love for it yet, I don't think I'd buy another.

YellowScallion · 24/04/2021 20:16

They don't fit me at all, which I should have known if I'd studied the size guide which puts anyone from 30a to 30e in the same size. A bra that fits someone who is normally a 30a is unlikely to fit someone who is a 30e or vice versa

CherryChapsticks · 24/04/2021 21:01

Sigh. I'm going to have to go to bravissimo at this rate I think. You're right - they are ugly
