What's your most upsetting tv death?

Just watching Bones for the first time and absolutely gutted about Sweets which made me wonder which other tv deaths have upset MNers.

Lots of potential for spoilers here so apologies in advance.

Since I became mum to DD any TV death of small female children has me in floods of tears. Most recently in Vikings when Torvi's daughter was swept overboard at sea!

Omg, I'd forgotten Shireen in GOT. I found that so distasteful it ruined the show for me.I never did watch the episode near the end where Dany scorches King's Landing as DH warned me against it.

Quite recently, Cassie in 'Unforgotten'. I actually dreamt about it two nights in a row.

Jin and Sun! I cried for days about that. 😢

Vera dying in Coronation St, just so moving and beautifully acted. Then when Jack dies and Vera appeared by his side. Welling up here!!!

So poignant when we knew both actors were ill. That’s back when Corrie was a well written well acted show.

@MalingeringMary it was Toady and Dee. They were both in the car. He came up from under the water and she didn’t. She implausibly returned to the series a few years later.

Utterly heartbreaking. Matthew was so sweet. Think I’d have died if Gilbert hadn’t recovered!

Sobbing every time I see this....and yet he's just a ball.

Mark Greene From ER, as well as Pratt, Peter Benton’s Nephew and when Peter had to tell Reece his mum died. I seemed to cry for most episodes of ER for one reason or another, just got me every time that programme.
