I managed 1800 words last night even though we have a childcare crisis here this week and I didn't get my usual night off from kids. Pleased with self. I never cease to be amazed that no matter how stuck I feel, if I can just sit down and start banging out any old shite, something will start to flow.

I haven't managed anything at all lately.

I've been at work and it's so hot it wrecks my brain.

I've finished my fic - I'm uploading the penultimate chapter tonight. I finished over the weekend but my arms still feel like I've been lifting weights. Typing for hours is brutal! I've not started my new fic yet because I want my muscles to recover first! Maybe I should start warming up before a writing session ...

I'm trying to get my Lucius chapter finished.

Gotta write Lucius' "friends" getting fat and pissed on Lucius' money.

So, I've written a short first chapter - 2369 words according to the word count. But I might be able to bulk it up to nearer 2500 when I read back through it and add extra stuff I might think of.

Well I'm further with my Lucius fic.

My nerves are bloody frayed.

I need to write something happy.

The chapters of my QG fic seem to keep getting longer. This one is shaping up to be a solid 5k. only 2 more chapters to go after that, though. I've got quite into the backstory of an OC that I created. It's always hard to know the line with an OC. I've read so many that have turned me straight off.

After I finish this, I have to decide if my next adventure is The Mandalorian or something in the MCU, either Falcon & Winter Soldier or Loki. I kind of want to write some Sam/Bucky slash just to give two fingers to Anthony Mackie.

Got my chapter up! Closing in on 35k words already on the fic, which for me is a personal record.

It's my writing night, but I have a cracking migraine hangover from yesterday and can barely string a sentence together

(Am I the only one that sometimes reads my own work for comfort? Sort of a familiarity plus "yes, I am good at this" kind of reassurance thing.)
