My mum reckons most people will be watching BBC. What are you watching? BBC for me and my mum (separate homes)

I think it's inhumane the way the Queen is having to sit by herself
Perhaps she wouldn't have it done differently?

'For those in peril in the sea' Beautiful

SausageDogSandwich · 17/04/2021 15:12

BBC

I think the fact that there are only 30 people allowed there means it seems much more intimate than I would have expected. It's very moving.

HouseofWindsor · 17/04/2021 15:12

Don't worry big hugs for Queen back in the castle. Well I bloody hope so.

ITV. BBC has far to much talking and commentary. Couldn't appreciate the brass bands etc

PussyCatEatingEasterEggs · 17/04/2021 15:13

@MrsMariaReynolds

Fwiw, the sound seems richer on CNN vs the BBC coverage. I think BBC has gone for muted reverence.
Don't bother flicking on to Sky - the commentary was excellent (Alastair) but the sound quality of the music earlier was dreadful.
MumofSpud · 17/04/2021 15:13

BBC - has to be for these occasions- can't stand the way Tom Bradby (?) speaks

youngestisapsycho · 17/04/2021 15:13

Harry and William followed cars at the funerals of Margaret and the Queen Mother... they were not standing together for those either.

Nanny0gg · 17/04/2021 15:13

@veeeeh

Thank you to those who identified Princess Margaret's son.

My heart was in my mouth as they climbed all those stairs with the coffin. But as always, perfectly done.

Another question, forgive me, where will the Duke be buried, is it within the church?

Frogmore

There's a burial ground. It's where Edward VIII is plus many others

@Hotelhelp

Was he put between then intentionally due to frosty relations?!
No, it's tradition. Eldest grandchild in the middle.
Germolenequeen · 17/04/2021 15:13

The Queen makes such a sad figure - no Royalist but have respect for her

Ah yes, o had forgotten about the QM funeral
Roszie · 17/04/2021 15:15

It's inhumane for everyone who has had to sit by themselves during the pandemic.

No way the queen would want to be seen to be treated differently. Even if she could have had Harry or someone.

Not a State one. Ceremonial
LouLou198 · 17/04/2021 15:15

BBC. I feel sad the queen is sat on her own. As others have said she looks frail. I feel sorry for Harry sat on his own too.

LudoBear · 17/04/2021 15:16

He will be interred in vault under Windsor Castle then moved when queen passes and be interred next to her. No burial.

Well done all those servicemen and women involved in the procession etc. They must have worked so hard to prepare and have executed it flawlessly.
