My mum reckons most people will be watching BBC. What are you watching? BBC for me and my mum (separate homes)

BBC, this is incredibly moving. The cameras haven’t done a close up of HM since the very bowed head, rightly so. She looked so lost and tiny and I agree, Charles looks devastated.

Radio4Rocks · 17/04/2021 15:25

BBC

RampantIvy · 17/04/2021 15:25

I don't understand the comments about the commentary. There has hardly been any. I'm watching it on BBC1 BTW.

sotiredofthislonelylife · 17/04/2021 15:25

@RampantIvy

BBC has far to much talking and commentary

Eh?
There has been hardly any commentary.

Didn’t you hear Huw Edwards talking constantly? Most of it completely unnecessary.
smithyca · 17/04/2021 15:25

BBC. I feel extremely sad that the Queen is on her own but very proud of the way our military have given him his send off.

campion · 17/04/2021 15:25

Another question, forgive me, where will the Duke be buried, is it within the church?

Frogmore

There's a burial ground. It's where Edward VIII is plus many others

According to BBC he'll be interred in the royal vault in the chapel until the Queen dies . Then they'll be buried together in a side chapel at St George's.

Embroideredstars · 17/04/2021 15:26

I doubt the queen would have had it any different than be on her own given that so many people have had to go through similar in the last year.

Tullyjune · 17/04/2021 15:26

These singers are incredible. Is their main job being a chorister? Do they sing elsewhere professionally, like the west end? Or are they unpaid?

RRoonilWazlib · 17/04/2021 15:26

BBC.

Agree, a brilliantly respectful job done. Not a massive royalist but its made me feel a bit emotional.

fairydustandpixies · 17/04/2021 15:26

BBC

korawick12345 · 17/04/2021 15:26

This is phenomenal singing - so moving

comingintomyown · 17/04/2021 15:27

Beautiful singing , poor Queen. I agree the whole social distancing is lending the whole proceeding a really poignant dignified atmosphere. I am not a Royalist

Rillington · 17/04/2021 15:27

Sky for me. Not loving the music. I like when you can sing along. I can't even understand what they are saying.

Embroideredstars · 17/04/2021 15:27

I've been surprise show little commentary there has been on the BBC.

BadMudda · 17/04/2021 15:27

BBC

It is so sad and so moving

HouseofWindsor · 17/04/2021 15:28

Hope The Queen gains strength from her faith

itsgettingwierd · 17/04/2021 15:28

I'm also pleased they aren't doing close ups of the family.

Despite the public nature of our RF and the fact the service is public they also deserve that privacy and respect.

ScarletZebra · 17/04/2021 15:28

I didn't expect to be affected by this but the gloves on the carriage seat set me off to start, and I've been dripping ever since Sad

JeanClaudeVanDammit · 17/04/2021 15:29

BBC.

Snaffodrop · 17/04/2021 15:29

Bbc

diddl · 17/04/2021 15:29
@diddl yes I agree.

I meant it seems as though the cameras shouldn't be there really, like they are intruding on a family's grief, even more so than if the chapel was full of people.
Sorry yes, I get what you mean.

I suppose in a way it's similar to video links being available to those who would like to attend but can't.

Cissyandflora · 17/04/2021 15:29

Sky news

Ah. My mistake
JustMeAndWheatley · 17/04/2021 15:29

BBB

Very moving, and the singing gives me goosebumps.

Very thoughtfully filmed.

Krook · 17/04/2021 15:29

Yes the gloves and cap got to me too Sad
