What terms of endearment do you call your DC?

Not explicitly a taat, but the thread about names for your OH got me thinking about what people call their DC (young or old!)?

Mine are preschool age and it's mostly: darling, sweet pea, sweetness, my love, honeybun, honey button, munchkin-moo, or their nicknames (too outing to share).

Mostly monkey or sausage-chops. No idea why but as he's nine they've definitely stuck!

AlohaMolly · 15/04/2021 23:23

DS is 4. I sometimes call him bugaloo or pickle sticks, I don’t know why. Sometimes I call him bobble but that’s because of Friday. Night Dinner Grin

DP calls him Bob. I also don’t know why.

My DD is 3 and as well as lots of nicknames I call her poppet, sweetheart, my darling, baby girl, pumpkin, cheese, cheesy puff, bean, beano and sweet girl. Her Daddy always called her Small Heart or just Heart.

She called me sweetheart the other day and it was too cute.

Lovey, sweetie, bunny, for DS3.

Weirdly he has started referring to himself as “fuzzy cat” Grin. I have no idea where he got that from, but he seems to think I ought to find it cute.

Mine are all grown now but used to call the boys "little fella". Now they're just "fella". Dd is "babe" which came about because her elder brother used to call her "baby-eye".
