It terribly sad. She did try to get help, such a pity she couldn't get it in time.

I had to google her, she's really battled with anorexia. So sad that it took her life in the end. How devastating for her family and friends to see her suffer so much.

Back when I used to love watching Big Brother, as it just was normal, every day people before I stopped as it got overtaken by people vying to be the most controversial or whatever.

This also highlights how poorly those with eating disorders are treated, treatment is largely very poor quality and heavily rationed. No one should have to fund raise to pay for life saving medical care, especially when that illness has such a high fatality rate.

Esp anorexia which is often dismissed.

I admit I did have to google the name. But I do remember Nikkie’s bubbliness and vulnerability from her time on Big Brother.
What a sad thing to happen, she must have struggled so much over the last year. RIP.

Heartbreaking - she was only 38. Such a cruel illness. So devastated for her family.

38 and she had such a long battle. Some friends had set up a go fund me page for her recently for some more intensive treatment. Apparently lockdown and had really contributed to her illness getting much worse than it had ever been.
