I've seen many when i worked in Central London near Theatreland: Timothy West, Penelope Keith, Vanessa Feltz, Fern Cotton, Ian McKellen, Sarah Ferguson (outside Harrods).

I saw Sean Maguire once in an amusement arcade in Blackpool. I saw all these people in black jackets with Sean written on the back and thought why have they all got the same jackets on? I then realised it was him with his entourage. I've also seen Jamie Carragher cycling with his kids at the beach eating an ice cream. That's about as exciting as my celeb spotting has got.

I used to bump onto the chap off coronation street (he was married to Hayley) in our local sport Centre. He always smiled nicely and said hello.

Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum were ahead of me in the baggage scanning queue at Heathrow once.

Jodie Marsh, Jay from Eastenders and Harry Rednapp (not together) is about as exciting as its got for me

Saw David Platt from Corrie in a bar on holiday once, that’s about as exciting as it gets for me!

Walked past Konnie Huq pushing her buggy in Clapham, and Angelica Bell in Kingston train station.
Sat a couple of rows in front of Alan Rickman at the theatre once, was on a school trip and it was during the Harry Potter movies era so all of us kids were going ‘OMG it’s Snape!!!!’.

Sat next to Dom Joly at the theatre once, and behind Jason from Gavin and Stacey too (two different theatre occasions).

Mostly during the joys of my footloose and fancy free London dwelling years!

Also have sung with many celebs and stood next to Steven Fry in theatre wings dontchatknow.

Mine are all quite old:

• Jonathan Ross in a card shop on Camden High Street. I could hear him discussing buying a card for her mum with his young daughter and thought that he sounded really sweet, then I went around the corner and realised who it was.
• Joanna Lumley in Vauxhall Sainsbury’s.
• Joe Absolom - twice, once on a trip to London Dungeons; the second time on a flight to Thailand when he was with his family.
• Henry Kelly in Camden.
• Jesse Birdsall - in a pub close to Spitalfields, he was often in there and think that he may have part owned it.
• Joe McGann - shopping in Norwich.
• The actor who played Ted Roach in The Bill at an auction in Suffolk.

I could go on but I think that they’re getting increasingly obscure

Oh AND Danny Murphy the footballer (now pundit) in Asda of all places at the self checkouts. The only item of his shopping I spied was some individual chocolate trifle things.

Joanne Lumley. I was looking out of my office window at the street and she owned it. Tall, elegant and beautiful. Caught my eye immediately.

Sat next to Dawn French in a restaurant. I was about the only person in the place to not notice! Richard and Judy, a lot.

Saw Matthew Horne running along the South Bank.

Oh, and not in the street but I saw Rob Lowe when my workplace was being used to film something he was in. I had no idea who he was, but all the women over about 40 were carrying on like teenage girls trying to plan how to meet him

Joe Sugg twice!!! Once in Belfast Airport and another time in Brighton.
