I saw George Sampson once.

Floyd Mayweather shopping in Saks; Bill Nighy shopping in J Crew on Oxford Street; Billy Zane in Piccadilly; Ralph Fiennes in the window of The Wolseley; Bryan Cranston having lunch in the Boathouse, Central Park; lots of reporters/politicians on BA early morning commuter flights; the female lead from Brooklyn 99 in Newark Airport; Rory McIlory and Wife in line at airport check-in; Dave Grohl in NYC - I’m in a state of shock every, single, time!!! Spoke to a few of the above and all very polite and happy to say hello back.

About forty years ago, while on holiday in the Isle of Man, my mum ducked into a shop doorway because of a thunderstorm. She is quite small and was a bit surprised when a man stepped in out of the rain and he was roughly at eye level with her. She suddenly realised it was Norman Wisdom and she said he gave her a lovely big smile when he noticed her shocked expression at having recognised him. It really made her day and we never heard the end of it for the rest of the holiday.

Katie Price - tiny! Celebrities are all so tiny! Sometimes I think “oh that person looks just like a short insert celebrity name here” then I realise it is them.

I also saw Tamsyn Grieg filming Love Soup in Embankment Garden and Kirsty and Phil filming in Somerset House.

I did not see this person myself. but some time ago, some of the village women here, were getting all excited outside the little shop here and outside the village school, when a car went passed quite slowly, and Ricky Gervais was in the passenger seat. I heard that many Mums. were shouting and waving frantically to him. but I believe he did wave to all of them too.
