@IslaMann

Oh, also sat at the next table to Matt Le Tissier for Sunday lunch a few years back. My DS was playing peek-a-boo with his young daughter, and afterwards said he thought her dad looked familiar. He was gutted when we pointed out he was a sky sports pundit that DS watched most weeks!
One of the nicest men in the world. Die hard Southampton supporter but used to do loads of the trophy nights for the kids clubs when my brothers were young. Never too busy for a chat and pics

I've seen Tom Hiddleston and Boy George in Covent Garden (not together)!
Princess Diana in Kensington M&S and also coming out of the Cafe Royal.
Also saw Diana Rigg in Kensington M&S.
Robert Peston in Knightsbridge. He was surprisingly handsome.
Lenny Henry in Scarborough filming something.
Jimmy Hill on the Piccadilly line - he got off at Barons Court.
Also saw Jimmy Saville in Scarborough once. He lowered his sunglasses to make sure I new it was him.
Chris Packham at Thorpe Park.

MellieNelba · 08/04/2021 00:23

Through our local paper I won a weekend stay at Center Parcs in one of their expensive chalets. It was wonderful and something as a family we could never afford . My husband and 3 boys got chatting with the family in the next chalet - my husband said they were very friendly. We bumped into them as we were walking round - realised then it was Amanda Holden.

Matt Berry outside the London Bridge Station.

HeronLanyon · 08/04/2021 00:28

I see a lot as live in central london.
Best was Ian McKellan (Sir) on the outside deck of a thames clipper out to Greenwich - looked every inch Gandalf with the Tower of London floating by in the background.
Most bizarre was I saw Shirley McLean in an American airport deserted walkway. She was on a electric transporter with an assistant. Knew it was her immediately before I could even see her - something about the whole way she held her head. Really odd and hadn’t seen any of her films for ages. Really distinctive.

GhoulWithADragonTattoo · 08/04/2021 00:33

I also saw Gabby Logan with her dad, Terry Yorath, in restaurant in Leeds.

dottiedaisee · 08/04/2021 00:34

Latoya Jackson at Belfast International Airport. This was years ago and she was teeny tiny!

Mamanyt · 08/04/2021 00:44

Many many many MANY years ago, Jim Morrison (of the Doors) nearly pee'd on me in a sand dune. Didn't see me there in the dark. We chatted, once his bits were back where they belonged. Nice guy, but drunk as a lord.
