If you're having toast, what's your topping/spread of choice?
Bit bored of butter and jam, I need inspiration for my week day mornings this week!

Half an avocado.

Mmm peanut butter is a winner with my DH, the question is, smooth or crunchy??

Also yes to Gouda, I could do cheese on toast.... 🤔 generally quite good at meal planning (evenings) but when it comes to breakfast it's always same old, same old!

Marmite. I’m pregnant and I’m eating out of the jar with a spoon at the moment.

Marmite on two slices, and black cherry jam on the third.

Peanut butter and sliced banana.

Mashed avocado and a poached egg with a little chilli salt is my fave for a Sunday morning though.

Crunchy peanut butter with strawberry jam on top of seeded toast. With a nice cup of coffee it’s honestly my favourite meal in the world!

I had avocado and lemon salt!

I also used my Avocado Slicer for the first time.

I will not bother with it again...what a palaver compared to the big knife. I am glad I only paid half price for it, useless thing.

Avocado with salt and black pepper. Sometimes lemon.

Marmite and LOADS of butter - butter first to let it melt, then marmite, then more butter on top to stay slightly more firm.

Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

Banana

Soft boiled eggs (yum!)

Crunchy marmite peanut butter

Cheesy scrambled eggs.

A whole avocado and a couple of poached eggs with chilli salt. Yum.

Tahini with a bit of chocolate spread swirled on top

Roast tomatoes or peppers (cold, I use leftovers from making sauces), with a bit of olive oil and salt

I sometimes use a cookie cutter to make a round hole in bread, then fry the bread, crack an egg into the hole, sprinkle with paprika or chilli flakes.
