I've just watched Mums List. Proper sobbing watching it and I don't even have children.

Eight Below, Haachi and Marley & Me are sad too.

My sisters keeper

Oh - Lorenzo's Oil.

That one had me sobbing!

The way we were
The only time I’ve got really emotional in a cinema
The song still makes me cry

MinnieJackson · 22/03/2021 13:24

Boys don't cry 😢

BadBear · 22/03/2021 13:26

Also I ended up crying for the biggest part of The Haunting of Hill House

Iwillgotothegym · 22/03/2021 13:27

Schindler’s list and I, Daniel Blake

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 22/03/2021 13:27

BadBear

Me too! I found Hill House heartbreaking.

SwimmingInToys · 22/03/2021 13:28

Lion was a great film but I don't remember it being sad? Not tear-jerking sad. Very thought provoking.

Hotel Rwanda was incredible but holy moly I was an absolute MESS. Part of me would like to watch it again because it was excellent but I know it will upset me.

Boys Don't Cry

middleager · 22/03/2021 13:36

Thanks @Palavah, that was it 'The Changeling'.

RolloTomassi · 22/03/2021 13:38

Legends of the Fall for me. Cried a lot throughout, and was a mess by the end!

JustOneMoreStep · 22/03/2021 13:41

I cry at pretty much everything but Let Him Have It is the only film I have ever inconsolably sobbed at.

whinetime89 · 22/03/2021 13:42

What dreams may come
The boy in the striped pyjamaa

Milomonster · 22/03/2021 13:43

Manchester by the Sea and In the Mood for Love.

Not a movie but I binge-watched The Big C on Amazon. It was very moving.

I missed Legends of the Fall back in the day when it was super popular. I think it’s on Netflix at the moment, you’ve reminded me I was going to watch it. Might not now!
Yeval · 22/03/2021 13:45

Terms of Endearment. Every single scene is perfect. If you don't know it, don't google it, just watch it.

longtimemarried · 22/03/2021 13:47

Bambi gets me every time. Also the diary of Anne Frank.

RolloTomassi · 22/03/2021 13:51

@JackieTheFart oh do still watch it!!!! It's good! Not depressing, but very emotional! And Brad Pitt is damn fine!

HowCanYou · 22/03/2021 13:52

Life is beautiful. I don't think I could watch it again now I have children. The dad trying to make everything seem ok so his son wasn't scared hurts my heart.

ButterflyBitch · 22/03/2021 13:52

The Green Mile always makes me cry and Forrest Gump.

PrintempsAhoy · 22/03/2021 13:54

The Hours

Best movie I can never watch again

PopsicleHustler · 22/03/2021 13:57

Goodnight mr Tom.

Broke my heart when he was abused and also his baby sister dying and locked up In that cupboard.

Also sad when his little Jewish friend died.

Best part was the end which made me cry also when he called Mr Tom, was absolutely lovely.

LookItsMeAgain · 22/03/2021 14:08

I don't know if it has been suggested yet but Lorenzo's Oil for me. I'll go back and see if anyone has suggested it yet.

@TwoLeftSocksWithHoles, I saw that clip too and it was so upsetting, still think about it. I hope the orangutan was safe.
