Brilliant to hear this. They have approached three charities in UK including Mind and a charity to increase diversity in the media and press.

Great, doing good based on their experiences.

@ListeningQuietly

This thread is about Harry and Meghan donating to UK charities.

Not about any other member of the UK Royal Family

Or about any UK News outlet

But it got derailed because there is no evidence that H&M are working with any UK charities currently

Yep

@Roussette

Hard to scroll on by when virtually every post is you retweeting some nutter

Glad you think Dan Wotton is 'some nutter'. He's pretty abhorrent to me too, even though he's besty friend with W&K's media guru.

When they are shown evidence that doesn't fit their narrative they come with the insults Grin

But the poster is really not far wrong about Dan Wootton so I'm glad we've established that 😃
I wonder what Jason Knauf sees in him... oh hang on... they went to University together in NZ. They go back a long long way...

Yes, we know that's what you want. The tactics are obvious.

Dan Wootton is horrible. I can scarcely bear to look at him.

All this briefings business. Whenever I read 'a source close to the Palace' I take it with a pinch of salt. I do pay attention to footage of the Royal family speaking because it's their own words and the truth as they see it. Diana was forever briefing the media and I expect all the royals do it.
What a tiresome way to live your life.

"close the thread" that's what the M&H supporters kept asking MN do on other threads I've been on.

Just to clarify: I'm not remotely offended by being called racist, as I know I'm not.

It says a hell of a lot about those throwing out those accusations all day based on someone holding a different point of view.

When I say I'm offended by Adil Ray's humour I mean it's rubbish and it does offend my sensibilities in a way that all very bad humour does. It's supposed to be funny, humour that is not his programme as it certainly isn't.

When I say it's offensive to call others racist - I'm not offended personally in the way that you'd hope to achieve, I'm not getting angry and most certainly not having an attack of the vapours.

I'm just aware that it's a serious accusation and shouldn't be thrown around as it loses its impact; I will pull those up on calling me racist for that reason.

So the problem is that no-one is going to react to child like attempts to insults.

TBH though, Wootton or Tom Bradby all the same - some are more open about their wish to influence an opinion than others.

Bradby was the one asking about her "feelings" whilst visiting charities in Africa.

I imagine Tom will be another of their "friends" that thinks there's a chance to turn it round. All H&M's friends will think that, because if they don't - where is the cache in saying "my friends H&M".

However, just another "friend" that isn't good at reading the room to add to the list - no wonder they don't get good advice - they acquire sycophants not friends.

I was watching the News and how he phrased and introduced a serious bridge collapse in Italy as if it was a "whoops there go my bloomers" type of programme. It was open mouth time.

@rosetylersbiggun "quite literally forcing Andrew onto people who don't want him."

I have no idea how true this is: "Buckingham Palace told Yahoo News UK: "As we announced in 2019, The Duke of York has stepped back from his public duties and patronages for the foreseeable future."

Have some patronages been reinstated since 2019? Or when did the request for his removal by that charity actually occur?
