We have an electric hob. I had just finished cooking potatoes, drained them then stuck my hand straight down onto the hob (to check if it was cold to put my plate down!) Obviously not i had literally turned it off 2 seconds earlier. The pain was insane, I didnt sleep that night as my hand felt like it was on fire. Painkillers, ice, nothing helped. I had done the running under water for 20 mins after the initial burn too!
I was also cooking chilli once, leant over the pot and it splashed straight into my eye. I had an ice pack strapped to my eye using a muslin cloth all evening 🤣
I tripped out of the door at work and sprained my ankle. It was massive for weeks and I had to do physio on it, and there's stil a weakness there which I can feel when I run or stumble.
I fell down the stairs on a bus when they stopped suddenly. Bruises all up my back and hip.
Not an accident but when pregnant I got stuck in one of the metal spinning things at the park after dd1 (3 at the time) insisted I get in with her. I had to ask a stranger to help me out 😂
I'm a walking disaster, im very accident prone and clumsy. Its just a miracle I've never broken a bone or seriously injured myself 🤣 (says while touching everything wood in sight!!)
