The MM abuse has been vile for months/years now and ITV have let him get away with it unashamedly. But then this mornings childish behaviour and disregard for mental health PLUS the sexism and harassment shown to Charlotte this morning was disgusting! In most UK workplaces if a man said similar to a female colleague they'd be seriously investigated by HR!

The weather is certainly more important than Piers Morgan. He just doesn’t realise it.

People, you have borne witness to the actions of an abusive man finally overstepping. They all do, eventually. Their head disappears so far up their own arse, they can no longer see out.

Sad to see, because I liked how he called out the govt on their handling of COVID. But his narcissistic fury at the fact that some people refuse to line up with his sexism and racism, and the bullying of a woman (any woman) is just not tolerable.

Shame on ITV for setting the trap that hooked him. Susannah needs to disappear too.

I’m not sure that’s relevant to piers morgan quitting. But for starters I’m pretty sure the Archewell foundation didn’t exist at the time Meghan was talking about.

Good he was absolutely appalling the other day and I turned off and haven’t watched him since except for the clip of him storming off.
I am glad because of the way he thought he could treat people. I am sure he won’t believe he was in the wrong though. I don’t know how Susannah stood working with him. I hope he doesn’t get back on television I certainly won’t be watching him if he does.

Earlier news from ITV was they were in discussion with PM over Meghan comments.

Then came of on reports of complaints.

Then came him quitting and itv it seems basically being grateful!

But I do wonder how much of junk before pushed. Not good for him to be sacked from yet another media role!

I know he quit but there definitely had to be a quit or sack conversation.

Oh he's been given the push all right. No WAY would he have wanted to go. It's being dressed up as him 'resigning' but I'm not sure how stupid he and ITV think we are. Morgan had said repeatedly that he is not leaving Good Morning Britain, no matter HOW much people complain about him. He said that yesterday on twitter. Not sure if it's still there. CBA to look.

He has said things that others are afraid to say, and many things that other people are thinking, and he made quite good viewing, as he was controversial. But he went too far this time. And his obsession with Meghan Markle was awful to witness. It verged on the bizarre. If I'd been his wife, I would have been really concerned about how he obsessed over Meghan.

I also wonder if the palace had something to do with it. Probably not, but you never know. There was over 40,000 complaints, just since yesterday! That's a LOT!

He made the breakfast show very watchable (rightly or wrongly!) but as I said, he went too far this time. His comments about disbelieving everything Meghan said (especially regarding racism and her mental health) were off the scale unacceptable.

And Kudos to Alex Beresford for calling Piers out. He said 'Meghan has NEVER slagged you off, or even mentioned you, and yet you have been relentless in your attacks on her. Just non-stop.' Piers (like a sulky brat,) stormed off the set.

Funny how he calls people who get upset easily 'snowflakes' when he is the biggest one in the UK right now!

It was time for him to go.
