I like to think the Queen or Palace had something to do with it though whether I'm right or not, to help with final decision.

GMTV wins no glory for allowing him to sit there spilling bile every day. If there is an enquiry, it should look at GMTV's role in giving him a voice. He writes for, and I'd fully aligned with the Daily Hate.
GMTV ignored valid complaints about him from viewers and interview guests. Good riddance. I hope he crawls under a rock.

I'm sure he will reappear but I'm pleased for everyone having to put up with him on GMTV that he's finally gone.

It did make me chuckle though that when the lovely Alex Beresford had words with him yesterday or today I forget now re MM that Piers stormed off set. I mean Piers talks / berates / antagonises / bullies people far worse than that on a daily basis yet here he is walking off in strop when questioned about his motives and behaviour, like the spoilt child he is.

It’s interesting because I am 99.9% certain had it been a woman to say exactly what Alex did, piers would have gone full on piers- shouting over her, bullying and being utterly repellant. But with a man he didn’t even attempt to.

It seemed he was given some kind of statement this morning on how everyone who asks for mental health help should receive it which he was clearly reading from. He couldn't control himself for five minutes then stormed off set. Even if he had not quit there was no way the position was tenable after that many complaints and ITVs mental health campaign.

I thought he was great this time last year. Asking questions which needed to be asked that were otherwise not being asked but then he just took it too far and made uncomfortable viewing and not in a good way!

I agree, I was never a fan before but last year my opinion started to change. Should of known it wouldn't last long. As you say it's now just became uncomfortable to watch, as soon as he mentions Meghan I turn over because I can't listen to the way he speaks about her. I wonder if they will bring Ben Shephard on full time to replace him.
