Piers does cause strong feelings, you either agree or you dont, i do admire him for speaking his mind , so unusual in this day and age where whatever you say or do with offend someone, he is never boring and,in the most part ,i agree with him

I don't admire someone for speaking their mind, it takes no courage to say stupid and hateful things. In fact, it takes courage and restraint, and maturity, not to say the first thing that enters your head. I've noticed it's the ignorant asses with no sense of self awareness who are most quick to run their mouths. A lack of self awareness is the issue, not 'courage'.
Also, I read and hear people say 'people are too afraid to speak', yet, all evidence to the contrary! I don't see anyone silenced; if you look at mainstream media which is all about spreading malicious gossip and hate as fact and creating hysteria, or social media such as Facebook and Twitter, there is
NO SHORTAGE of people running their mouths stating in no uncertain terms what they think.
These days, you can't escape mouthy people saying exactly what they think.
he is never boring
Neither are bullies. Neither are racists. If your measurement is if someone is 'boring' or not, that's very low, and very, very sad. I'd rather someone a bit 'boring' who is intelligent, well-spoken, fair, compassionate and who gets their message across without the hysteria or hyperbole. I prefer intellect and compassion over hysterical, mouthy, arrogance but 'non-boring'.
