Piers has essentially been using GMB as a platform to air his personal grievances against MM for too long. They need to put a stop to it

Yes I did also wonder about the set up thing tbh. Alex has gone viral before for speaking up about racism so he isn’t the “unknown weatherman” he’s being portrayed as.

However you feel about PM is he is a total ratings winner. People complain about him and yet still watch, and comment. It'll be in the papers no doubt. Him appearing to flounce this morning is exactly what people tune in for.

I don't watch his show but have seen enough negative headlines in media about what he has to say about Meghan Markle & Donald Trump to recognise obsession & bullying. He wanted to be besties & then it went horribly wrong but outside of his control as he is the lesser in the power balance (star power too). All that is left for him is to attack. I wonder aboit the mindset of the readership & viewership as continuing to click on his article or channel is promoting him really. He seems to be a n angry jealous man & it seems to me can only catch the limeline for himself when he is obnoxious & hateful. I don't much care for or about either of his targets of Markle or Trump myself (likely there are others) but his vitriol is just cashing in too.

Alex was bang on re Meghan and he was right in what he said about Harry; that awful time in his life when his mum died so young and at the hands of the press and in part due to her mistreatment by the royals.

However, my sympathy for Harry ebbs and flows a bit. I can't get over him dressing as a Nazi and called his BAME colleague a P... for 'the bantz' . It's great that he is now an anti racist, apparently. But he did racist things most people wouldn't even conceive of. Glad he is reformed and all, but it's hard to forget.

He has struck it SO lucky with Meghan and he should be thanking God she seems to adore him. She is his superior in pretty much every way I can think of, (imo). Sorry Harry. I think he probably knows this tbf and he has made the right choice.

He's almost a Keith Lemon/Leigh Francis figure to me. A character, playing a part on GMB, saying what people want and expect. If he didn't act that way people would be disappointed.

He was on This Morning last week and was reasonably calm and affable, and I quite like his Life Stories series.

I've just watched the video & Piers has achieved a new low with his hatred of Meghan. If BoJo or a senior minister behaved like that Piers would be attacking them for not being able to have a rational conversation.

I've not been H&M's biggest fan over the last couple of years but how could anyone not feel sincere empathy hearing another human was in so much pain they were suicidal. I felt so sorry for Meghan watching it. I do think Harry didn't come across as well - I felt some sympathy for him but also felt he sounded entitled at times ie the funding of security - he can clearly afford security so why let friends like Tyler Perry pay for it

Sadly true. My deluded sister thinks he "tells it like it is." He fat shamed an obsese celebrity in the most uncomfortable way even after she pointed out he was fat. It was appalling.

Nice to see him well and truly owned, I cannot stand him. When I see his sneery pic on the DM (the one where he’s adjusting his cuff) I want to pour salt in my eyeballs. He can dish it out but he sure can’t take it himself the podgy snowflake.
