Does anyone else think that the Harry & Meghan show isn't going to be that explosive?

I really doubt that loads of dirt will be raked, or muck spread. I'm guessing that there will be a few "it was hard to speak" type complaints, which the media will blow up, but that it's not actually going to be as exciting as we're all being led to believe?

@teentipans

she didn't know she had to curtsy in private.
Well then Harry should have told her.

No coming back from this is there?

But I can totally see why Charles stopped taking his calls- he was probably hurt. Even more so now I expect.

They really didn’t need to do this. They really didn’t. When they know the RF don’t answer back.

DarthWeeder · 08/03/2021 08:14

Ugh, Harry’s whining about being cut off financially. He left ‘the firm’, what did he think he should be getting paid for exactly? He’s made himself look like a whingey brat.

No you are not the only one . Also I get the need to share but share with your friends, spouse therapist. Is it really necessary to share with the whole world, every time anything happens in their lives or their children’s lives even that interview will be resurrected.

Really can’t see what they have achieved here , I hope they feel better because they clearly feel it was the right thing to do. Not sure it proves love always wins ( clearly didn’t work with H’s relationship with his brother and father) or that being kind is how they lead their lives, how kind is it to make unsubstantiated claims about people who they know cannot retaliate.

Think I am too British I wouldn’t tell my neighbours about my mental health struggles and I wouldn’t want my children to know that I had told the world either. I would want to tell them myself in a way appropriate to them.

teentipans · 08/03/2021 08:15

Yes, he should have but the point was she didn't know until that point.

@Wheresyourclapham

‘Nice to see all these people with nothing better in their lives claiming not to care about MM whilst clinching their fannies at everything they do. You are obsessed and jealous.Get a life.‘ 💯

@HmmmmmmInteresting 💯
@DeeCeeCherry 💯

Jealous and soo sad. Keep these type of (insert choice word) at a distance.

I think you’re on the wrong thread, dear. We all have lives, and can somehow keep our “jealousy” in check.

This is the bit i'm unsure of, didn't they leave because they had to in order to fund security?

DarthWeeder · 08/03/2021 08:18

Did Harry forget to mention that? In fact, did Harry tell her anything about his family? It seems not. Confused

Just like he ‘forgot’ to be arsed making any effort to go and meet his father in law in person before the wedding. The first time he was proposing to meet him was at the end of the aisle on the wedding day being televised to millions of people. He has no problem hopping on a jet for other reasons but couldn’t do this?

He really did his wife a total disservice. I used to think he was ok but I can’t stand him now.

I'm on the fence, I don't like airing the dirty laundry but they wanted to correct untruths. The RF can answer back, they do it through press.

Spiegelx · 08/03/2021 08:20

This it is so cringeworthy - don’t they realise people all over the world are struggling with horrific mental health issues due to covid, poverty, lockdown, not seeing family members before they die, children affected in unknown ways from missing out in education, domestic violence...

teentipans · 08/03/2021 08:22

I was simply replying that she knew about public but not private. I presume Harry did tell her at some point, that doesn't change the fact she didn't know until she found out 🤷🏻‍♀️

VanCleefArpels · 08/03/2021 08:22

My take (having seen clips/ Twitter commentary)

William was quite right not to have married Kate until she had time to contemplate/learn about exactly what the “job” entailed. Harry didn’t afford Meghan the same consideration

Charles (for it is clearly he of the brown baby comments) is emotionally illiterate which is not surprising and probably resents his son for being able to escape the life he (C) loathes

teentipans · 08/03/2021 08:23

I suppose they didn't have time though due to age & wanting dc but explains why Kate was groomed for so long.

SmidgenofaPigeon · 08/03/2021 08:24

Brilliant day to be a rent-a-gob on bbc breakfast!!!

I think it was Prince Phillip if anyone who most likely made the comments about the skin colour of their as yet unborn child. But she can’t say that, because he’s sick as a dog in hospital. We all know the old goat has form for those kind of comments 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am sceptical of the ‘kate made me cry’ claim. Kate disagreed with her had made her kick off in the run up to a stressful event, maybe.

It’s all just so horribly toxic. Even makes me feel nauseous. Can only imagine how this makes them all feel.

Just been reading the headlines. The stuff about the wedding is gold! So they got married three days before in the garden? That must have been a blessing, surely? You can't marry someone (even if it's the same person) if you're already married by law.
They didn't want the big showy wedding either, apparently.

She's "forgiven" Kate for making her cry and is now using the story for clout. She just sounds petty and jealous when she talks about Kate tbh. It's very odd

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 08/03/2021 08:29

Why is the race comment shocking...:has no one ever witnessed Prince Philip ?!

Pimlicojo · 08/03/2021 08:30

Utter nonsense to say they didn't want the big showy wedding. They could have had a small private ceremony with close friends and family in the privacy of Windsor Castle if they wished. No-one would have forced them to have hundreds of people, two receptions and two dresses.

Wondermule · 08/03/2021 08:30

If you listen carefully to the interview, they’ve made their allegations sound bold but they’re actually very elusive and deliberately vague. In refusing to name people or share specifics of the comments made, they’ve made it impossible for the Palace to refute them. I feel that if the events really happened in the way they claim, they would have no problem sharing specifics and naming people. They proved they didn’t care about the RF’s reputation by doing the interview, so why do they suddenly care about protecting individuals who allegedly made these remarks? There’s a lot of ‘potentially’ and ‘inferring’ going on and very little hard facts.

teentipans · 08/03/2021 08:30

I am sceptical of the ‘kate made me cry’ claim. Kate disagreed with her had made her kick off in the run up to a stressful event, maybe.

I think they were just using this example to illustrate the fake news since the story was Kate cried. I thought M was saying it was largely due to wedding stress/anxiety.
