Please tell me the comment about taking her baby away isn't true?
@vlnr77yac

So agree.

This sums it up. Here is the ghastly Piers Morgan and 4 ignorant old white men having a good old rampage about MM.

So that's the bigot Andrew Neil who is starting up the new GB news, equivalent of Fox in US, worse probably
Kevin Maguire of the rag Daily Mirror, Chris Ship, and Andrew Pierce.
I had to turn off.
It was absolutely horrible to watch
Piers Morgan had become more bitter and is totally up his own arse
As for Andrew Pierce- he is the epitome of ignorant and extremely bigoted

Just as bad that an independent, successful woman still uses her bloody pregnancy as a tool to get attention and sympathy.

What the actual fuck? Hmm

Here's what Piers Morgan thought of Meghan Markle, her background, prior career success (he was such a fan of Suits that he followed all its stars on twitter) in November 2016.

It sounds like, ahead of this write up, they met as friends. He then wrote it up as an interview, disclosing all she'd told him. He whelps about her not contacting him anymore, but his indiscretion will be why. That and Harry apparently told her what Piers is like, but who knows.

Anyway, he seems enamoured. He was whinging about the loss of her friendship (again) only a couple of days ago. He is one scary non-even-an-ex ex.

@Thewinterofdiscontent

I fear women will never learn that its not in their interests to tear down other women or stand and watch it silently happen to others.

Just as bad that an independent, successful woman still uses her bloody pregnancy as a tool to get attention and sympathy. That she gives up a career for marriage despite managing to continue with it whilst dating Harry for 18 months. If she wants to be a role model she should start with not pandering to everyone else’s expectations of womanhood.

What you've written here is pretty disgusting. 'Uses her bloody pregnancy'? Shame on you.

You've both accused her of doing her own thing and not doing enough of her own thing.

How the fuck does she win that game?

uses her bloody pregnancy as a tool to get attention and sympathy

Yuck Thewinterofdiscontent, YUCK.

This makes sense. I always wondered why he is so over the top about her. Sounds like he fancies her.

FrippEnos · 07/03/2021 16:18

Piers Morgan is a cock womble. he was pro Meghan for a brief period in which he used her to promote himself.
Once she knocked that on the head he spin it round.

HmmmmmmInteresting · 07/03/2021 16:19

LOL at that article re Piers Morgan PicsInRed:

'So now that Harry has picked her, what does Piers think of the new Royal consort?'

'She's got beauty, brains, charm, and a great sense of humour,' he says. 'Meghan Markle is perfect princess material.'

"I'm not surprised he's fallen for her, or that he's so ferociously protecting their relationship."

"Harry, ignore all the poisonous rubbish you're reading or hearing about her. Meghan Markle is perfect princess material. Just put any proposal in writing."

What a hypocrite Piers is.

Roussette · 07/03/2021 16:20

Piers Morgan is a bloody stalker. He has a complete obsession with her. If it were me I'd be wanting a harrassment order against him.

I have no idea how Meghan uses her 'bloody' pregnancy as a tool to get attention and sympathy. She didn't even tell anyone she was pregrant for months and months.

Maybe the poster could come back and explain.

Inkanta · 07/03/2021 16:20

I don't understand why no one confronts Piers Morgan - he seems untouchable. Why does on one take him on about his obsession with Meghan, or ask, - what the hell were you doing in Antigua at Christmas!

This is so wrong and inappropriate, particularly on a forum aimed at women. Horrible comment
Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 07/03/2021 16:22

I notice Meghan's sister has been very quiet, I thought she might have used this as an opportunity to put the boot in, but thankfully not.

Rupertbeartrousers · 07/03/2021 16:23

@UltraVioletRays

Meghan is a very beautiful American actress (a complete outsider) that didn't tow the line or keep her head down and put up with the traditional years of scrutiny and negative press focused on any woman who marries into the Royal Family.

She very quickly 'changed' Harry in the eyes of the British public. He was giving grandiose speeches about changing the world, climate change etc while living a life of luxury/private jets etc. Meghan was also very outspoken and the public felt preached to and wondered "who do they think they are?".

Remember that the press love nothing more than to "put people in their place" especially women.

They pushed against protocol and spoke about wanting Privacy. This pissed people off.

Now they've gone, not to Canada or Africa but to LA where they're courting a hell of a lot of publicity - not Privacy. At the same time as moaning. Still.

It's partly due to the very nasty misogynistic treatment of WOMEN by the press and the stereotypical view that a WOMAN is to blame for stealing our Prince. Not only that but an OUTSIDER (American) who is disrespectful to our Queen.

Sod all to do with the 1/4 black heredity.

I think this is a good summary

That is what I dislike about Piers. He is such a hypocrite He will get his comeuppance in the end . The tide is gradually turning against him. Heinous man

IMO, Its another version of PA where they all move in the same circles and know far to much about each other.

ChocolateSantaisthebestkind · 07/03/2021 16:27

I will not be watching. I think they are both despicable. The upset that the Diana interview caused his brother is well documented, yet Harry is putting him and the rest of his family through this? Also, how can two supposedly humanitarian, compassionate and caring people sit and moan about how awful their lot in life is, when so many people in the world have lost so much (both economically and otherwise in the pandemic)?

Re the press coverage and the statement. Many people in the UK had no idea who MM was and that she was dating Harry until she gave an interview to Vanity Fair about their relationship and kept posting things on instagram. She also kept wearing things that made the paps and papers go crazy, like jewelry with their intials on.

The public supported them, the crowds at their first engagements and wedding were massive and cheering them on. Sometimes, it seems like that are conflating the people and the press and sniping at them. If the public stop caring about them, they will soon notice.

In the engagement interview, MM said she wanted to get her 'boots on the ground' then less than two years later, it's all too hard and she didn't know what she was getting into? Then the Palace reveal that they were offered an out, before the publically funded wedding and titles, but they said No, they wanted to work!

Then the petualnt statements... the Queen doesn't own royal etc. Disrespectful is not the word.

Also, yes to the PPs highlighting that Kate endured nearly a decade of vile press, which began when she was a teenager! Meghan knows how the press works and there are tranches of evidence of her working the press before she met Harry. As for the BS of not having tabloids in the US oh please...just look at what they did to Britney Spears.

My hope is that they put their feet in it well and truly and fade away and if they make each other miserable on the way to obscurity so much the better.

Blueberries0112 · 07/03/2021 16:29

“My God, did Piers Morgan actually suggest Archie should be removed from Meghan and Harry's care? I knew that legally the Queen (the reigning monarch) has legal custody of children close in the succession and that she has the power to remove the children terrifying ...but I didn't know anyone had actually suggested it be done“

If that’s true, I don’t think I want to have anything to do with the royal family if they have the power to take my kids away. And for no reasons too.

I know they wouldn’t do it but just a thought that it can be done is scary.

Historically in the US, people with disabilities and people of other race get their children taken away all the time. Learning about this can caused a fear in you. As someone who is deaf, and knowing this makes you feel very protective and try too hard to do everything right.

Sprining · 07/03/2021 16:35

Did Kate bully MM? I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true. Kate seems a bit sly

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 07/03/2021 16:35

Here is a video of four 'royal experts' who have been pranked into contributing to a TV show supposedly reflecting on the big interview - it was filmed days ago and the experts were told to pretend they had already watched it and comment thus.

It's astonishing that they are so unquestioning and apparently happy to reflect on an interview they haven't even seen:

(Ps totally understand if you don't fancy clicking on a random you tube link. Just Google dickie arbiter and you tube prankster into your browser.

I'd be bloody mortified if I'd been one of those journalists.

He does seem to have an real vendetta with Meghan.

I thought people could travel in December, not that I was bothered checking as I wasn't even going to the shops but I remember people criticising Captain Tom going somewhere (Bahamas? Barbados? Somewhere warm) and people said it was allowed.
