What are your and for the week commencing 8the March?

I am going to a whole house Tomm boot camp, one room per day, tidy in morning, clean in afternoon. I'm so excited 😁

Working without also trying to homeschool. Very exciting.

Stop juggling with work and just work! Revel in the silence a bit.

I am going to collapse and cry with relief. You’ll find me rocking in the corner. And then try to remember how to be more competent at my job than I am being at the moment.

NaughtyTortie · 25/02/2021 14:05

I am HOPING I am not going to work unfettered by homeschooling because I am hoping to quit my job.

If that is the case there will be dog walks and lying quietly in a corner panting gently on the agenda.

skeggycaggy · 25/02/2021 14:06

Can’t wait! I’m spending two full days at work (I’m expected to go into work, so have been doing two half days on DH’s mornings off, & making up the rest at home which is inconvenient), and cleaning the house from top to bottom. DH will use his reclaimed 2 mornings to go surfing & do some gardening I expect.

doubleshotespresso · 25/02/2021 14:07

I'll still be homeschooling as school are unable "to accommodate D.C. needs"....

CatFacePoodle · 25/02/2021 14:08

Booking 2 days off work to clean the house, nap, watch crap on TV, and enjoy peace and quiet.

2tired2bewitty · 25/02/2021 14:09

I’ve shifted my very part time admin job to the evening while homeschooling, so I think I will do one more week of that and, like OP, blitz the hellhole that my house has become, might even break out the carpet washer!

PlugUgly1980 · 25/02/2021 14:10

Work, work and more work, catching up on everything that's taken a hit whilst I've been home schooling.

BoKatan · 25/02/2021 14:11

Working the second half of the week, but I'll be going for a long run in the daylight on the Monday.

Gardening gardening gardening! I’m so behind where I should be at this point in the year. Fortunately the Open Gardens event I was supposed to be taking part in has been postponed to next year, so that takes off some of the pressure at least.

DeepfriedPizza · 25/02/2021 14:14

Still homeschooling.

Chipsahoy · 25/02/2021 14:16

Spending time with my toddler, just the two of us.

Hollyhead · 25/02/2021 14:16

Get on with my 8 hours of work a day at normal times of day. Full time working parents are the massive losers out of this situation. We’ve been through hell. Cant imagine when I might get chance to actually relax or work on the house!

MotherWol · 25/02/2021 14:17

DH may be working away for a week, so I'm looking forward to some proper alone time. I'm going to get a week's worth of ready meals and take a week off cooking. I'll work without having to homeschool at the same time. I'll go for a walk at my pace, not that of a 5 year old who didn't want to come out in the first place. Maybe book a cleaner to come in and deep-clean as for once it'll stay clean with DD and DH out of the house.

Nutrigrainygoodness · 25/02/2021 14:17

I'm hoping to be looking at going back to work. We closed in January and it's looking likely that we will be reopening soon. I'm ready to get back to something that resembles normal.
goes off to dig out uniform, and hope lunch box hasn't been left in bag since December

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 25/02/2021 14:18

Go back to my maternity leave. Walks with DD2, playing with her, enjoying her being a baby without also trying to homeschool DD1.

MrBullinaChinaShop · 25/02/2021 14:19

Doing all the work I’ve fallen behind on while trying to homeschool and work full time over the past 6 weeks and pray it’s enough to keep me my job.
On my day off, pay some attention to the toddler who has been ignored for the past 6 weeks while I’ve been trying to homeschool!

trilbydoll · 25/02/2021 14:20

Working, wandering around marvelling at how quiet the house is, disturbing DH because I'm bored Grin

MaureenMLove · 25/02/2021 14:21

Lol. I have been calling year 10 parents fortnightly, since Christmas and in week one, the calls were done within an hour. Everyone was so despondent and fed up.

Today, is has taken me 6 hours to make 29 calls! Everyone is so excited! Grin

Bloody well done for surviving! We'll take it from here. WinkGrin

Eminybob · 25/02/2021 14:21

Working. And it’ll be hellish as my boss has cut me some slack while I’ve been homeschooling which I’m sure he’ll rein in as soon as dc is back at school. But not as hellish as homeschooling has been.
Then on my days off giving toddler dc2 some one on one attention.

UnaOfStormhold · 25/02/2021 14:23

Like @Bokatan I will be working but really looking forward to taking a bit of time out for a run in the daylight!

I'm also hoping to go back to walking some of my meetings, I did that last lockdown and found I could concentrate so much better when I wasn't staring at a screen all day, plus the exercise, light and fresh air helped so much mentally and physically.
