What are your and for the week commencing 8the March?

I am going to a whole house Tomm boot camp, one room per day, tidy in morning, clean in afternoon. I'm so excited 😁

Sitting around feeling a bit lost to be honest. I won't be back at work as my shop won't be open, and I won't have DD to home school. It'll feel strange and I will probably sit down drink too many cups of tea and eat too many biscuits.

Doje · 25/02/2021 14:30

I'm gonna spend some quality time teaching my puppy some manners! His arrival was carefully planned years in advance to coincide with my youngest starting school....

Homeschooling (and working part-time) with a 12 week old pup has not been fun!

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 25/02/2021 14:30

Probably crying into a cushion in frustration over the roadworks between my house and the school, which have up to now not caused any major issues... As the school next to them has only been a third full.
It looks like I'm driving to the edge of town and walking the last mile (as I'm the wrong side of the railway).

Other than that... Revelling in the quiet. Doing food shopping during the day instead of 7pm. Packing and sorting ahead of moving house.

Tackle the house - going to take my time as there’s still not much else to do. House will probably be pristine as the Easter holiday arrive ready to be mucked up again (hoping for nice weather over Easter 🤞).
Getting in a nice walk or two on my own where I can walk at my own pace, not DD’s.

TheGriffle · 25/02/2021 14:43

My 3 year old can drop the extra day at nursery we put her in for so I could spend a solid day homeschooling without work and toddler getting in the way and go back to her normal days. Although nursery is way more fun than being home with me so she’ll probably not be too happy about it!

MedusasBadHairDay · 25/02/2021 14:45

Actually be able to concentrate on work, and spend my lunch break watching TV I want to watch/studying my OU degree.

Dontstepinthecowpat · 25/02/2021 14:48

Sleeping! I’ve been trying to work nightshift and homeschool so surviving on about 4 hours a night. And cleaning my house properly, and gardening. I can’t wait!

DipSwimSwoosh · 25/02/2021 14:51

Go into work but with a mask on my face. Great.

stopringingme · 25/02/2021 14:57

Enjoying the peace and quiet and being able to go to the toilet on my own without my Disabled DD asking Mummy what are you doing and coming in with me.

Firenight · 25/02/2021 14:59

Working uninterrupted. What a thrill.

Iamsodonewith2020 · 25/02/2021 14:59

Going into work everyday like I have but not having to check up on my 3 children ( one 18 though) throughout the day by FaceTime to and not having so much I’m guilt about leaving them homeschooling with their eldest sister

LaceyBetty · 25/02/2021 15:00

Get work done properly, lunchtime runs, hope my permanent headache subsides.

alfieum · 25/02/2021 15:03

Going on Maternity leave from home school and work and spending some precious time with my toddler, who has been ignored since mid December. Can't wait.

Absy · 25/02/2021 15:05

Next week DH will be gojng into the office and then D.C. to school the week after. It’s going to be wild - I’m going to work at the dining table with a big screen rather than on my bed. I’ll be able to work without anyone climbing on me or having to run out of the room to avoid hearing DH on the phone. It’s going to be wild. I’ll be able to snack and go to the bathroom in peace.

Myshinynewname · 25/02/2021 15:06

I'll still be working from home but I'm looking forward to being able to watch crap TV in my breaks rather than homeschooling.

SingANewSongChickenTikka · 25/02/2021 15:06

I’ve got the week off work (holiday of course cancelled) but my plans are housework housework and more housework, but in an empty house, can’t wait!

BogRollBOGOF · 25/02/2021 15:26

Put the radio on.
Reclaim the house from chaos
Lots of running.

hemhem · 25/02/2021 15:27

Working my actual hours at work instead of till 2am most nights. Being able to have lunch in peace and go for a walk on my own. Mostly I'm looking forward to my kids running about with their friends and not being so dependent on me for entertainment

heidipi · 25/02/2021 15:51

Not get up at 5am to start work. Work from school drop off til pick up/end of childcare depending on day of week. Start catching up with all the work that has had to wait. Have absolutely nothing to do with ancient Egypt or pentagonal prisms Grin.

BabbleBee · 25/02/2021 15:52

Be able to sleep properly after working nights!

JaninaDuszejko · 25/02/2021 15:59

Getting an extra two hours in bed each morning. DH and I have been working shifts round each other so we can homeschool and I've had the early shift, starting at 6am.

tootiredtospeak · 25/02/2021 16:00

Working just not trying to homeschool as well.

Geneva12 · 25/02/2021 16:00

DP is taking the day off work (construction) and we are going to spend the day just us 2. Not sure what we’re going to do yet. Will probably be some form of housework.

Lalalockdown · 25/02/2021 16:03

I'll be sitting in Northern Ireland wondering why it's apparently okay for Scotland, Wales, Ireland (the republic) and England all to go back to school but for us to be facing another SIX WEEKS until after easter hols before Y3+ go back, and charting the disintegration of my previously highly engaged, happy and sociable seven year old as he sobs nightly about how he's so unhappy.

Cheers, Stormont! Hmm

LadyCatStark · 25/02/2021 16:07

Working!
