Not a TAAT but inspired by another one!

How often have you been going out of the house over the past few weeks? And what's your situation wrt schooling / kids / work etc?

I work pt and have young kids (youngest is a baby, eldest mid-primary) and we go out every day otherwise I'd LOSE IT. Having thought about this, I realise that with the ice, DH isn't getting out for his usual morning cycles and so has spent all day every day Mon - Fri in the house for the last 2 weeks.

I posted up thread that I haven't been out since Christmas Day. I wanted to add that
I’m used to not going anywhere and staying at home doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t see or feel the need to go out unless I need to go out.

@happymummy12345 sorry but however you want to dress it up- not physically leaving the house for two months is really worrying, unless you’re ill. Does your partner have to do all the shopping and general errands? Don’t you do anything for yourself?

Twice a day at a minimum. Once to run early in the morning and then usually out if a walk later in the day. Supermarket shopping and longer weekend walks in top. I’m trying to lose weight, so I have to make sure I get enough exercise. If I wasn’t, I probably wouldn’t be out as much.

Is everything ok? It’s a little unusual not to leave the house at all, are you able to get some exercise / feel mentally well?

Every day, on principle, even though I have nowhere to go. I'm going to be the size of a house soon because other than the daily walk or run, the only other thing to do is get lunch from the cafe or go and collect takeaways!

Several times most days. Drop to nursery, pick up from nursery, a run and sometimes a trip to the shop or a walk to the park with the kids.

On working days I'm here, there and everywhere because of the nature of my job.

Usually once a day. I'm a SAHM so in charge of homeschooling the 3 DC. We try to get to the local park each day after school and we also have an allotment so can go down there. It's essential for keeping us all on an even keel tbh

Wfh. Every day, although missed an odd day when weather’s been awful.

It makes me feel better & I’m trying very hard to stay fit and healthy.

I work four days a week at the moment. I walk to and from work (long way). I do my supermarket shop on Friday afternoon. I might go out for a walk on Sat and Sunday in local park but to be honest we have had awful rain over the last few weekends so haven't gone far.
