Oh look, we're on the right side of history
If the government are going to piss about with a sluggish reopening of society, you're going to get a repeat of crowded beauty spots as soon as the weather is half decent again, and while that isn't a virus issue, it is a toileting issue, a parking issue and a littering issue.
Globally, regardless of strategy, virus rates plummet in the spring. Plus we have the vaccine now begining to protect CEV and even active age groups like 50+. By the time we get to the start of Easter, we simply aren't going to be in a position to repeat a mid-winter pressure on the NHS. Surviving businesses are also "good to go" with mitigation measures in place. They don't need to wait for months to source screens/ gel/ plan layouts, and we know what effect different sectors have. It's the great experiment of 2020. It's not unprecidented any more.
On that note was there any evidence to justify depriving the public of access to toilets, like that isn't a health hazard? I am worried that my mid-run/ start-finish toilet block may never reopen after this.
