Please recommend me a Netflix series!

Looking for something to watch with 17-year-old DD (and maybe DH). Would like something with a good storyline or maybe a really good comedy. Not really into fantasy stuff or historical dramas. TIA.

Funny, sad and I think an education to people how hard Looked After children can have it (I am an adopter and it is pretty true). Mark Whalberg stars in it. Good for all the family. My DH liked it too.

Schitt’s Creek - took a couple of episodes but then we loved it
Stranger Things but you have probably seen it. A bit modern fantasy but lots of other stuff going on, friendship, romance etc

We've just binged on modern family, my teens are younger but it makes us laugh a lot and it's daft and easygoing.

I don't have to concentrate too much while we're watching and there's loads of episodes.

Money Heist is excellent. Better to watch it in Spanish if you can with subtitles. But it's available dubbed into English for the weak. Grin
