I recently found out the name of something which was discontinued years ago and I still mourn.

Terrys Moments - Hexagonal chocolate with a caramel filling inside

Orange Chewits I swear are gone too.

Anything else missed?

Yes, Cadbury's Spira bars. In fact, any Cadbury's from the '80's.
It's really crap chocolate now.

Someone upthread mentioned St Ivel Gold. God I remember that. It was absolutely rank! Don't miss that at all.

Cabana bars. Like a bounty but with cherries. So good.
Micro chips that were flavoured in
the box like cheese and onion or bacon flavoured!

Potato Puffs

@haliborange0verdose

Can anyone help me think of the name of some crisps from the 80s please!! I bought THESE the other day and they are absolutely identical to some crisps my mum used to buy for me - I know they weren't Chipsticks, because those were bigger and more puffy. They also weren't French Fries, which are slightly curved and again more of a puffed snack. These crisps were little hard very crunchy match sized sticks, in a red pack - but I can't for the life of me remember what they were called, and my DH thinks I'm making it up!
Chipples?

No idea why that name popped into my head though!

Potato sticks?

IrnBruAndTwiglets · 05/02/2021 18:28

Atomic sourballs, the sour version of atomic fireballs. They were amazing, I'm still gutted a decade on they got discontinued

Something called a striper? Like a rainbow chew bar, I used to love them
OH would say bovril flavoured square crisps!

haliborange0verdose · 06/02/2021 11:49

@Loopzy @keeponkeepinon YES thank you! That's the one!!
I found this pic on Pinterest which is the pack that I remember! It looks as though they were brought back in more recent times although I've never seen the newer KP version. Thanks! Will tell DH now!
@WorriedMillie omg! I remember having one of these in about 1985 at some kind of fair or fundraiser, but for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was, just that it was rainbow and a green packet! Weird that I've always remembered it!
They were flipping lovely! Our corner shop sold them. I bet they wouldn’t taste the same nowadays with fruit derived flavourings Grin

Whirlwind14 · 06/02/2021 16:08

Birds Hot Crunch- it came in banana or chocolate flavour.

Applause bars too...

HelebethH · 06/02/2021 16:44

Royal Scot Biscuits
Gypsy Creams
Jamboree Bags
And my all time favourite was the butterscotch from my mums box of Black Magic
