I recently found out the name of something which was discontinued years ago and I still mourn.

Terrys Moments - Hexagonal chocolate with a caramel filling inside

Orange Chewits I swear are gone too.

Anything else missed?

Do they still sell Iced Gems? I have a craving for those sometimes.

And what about those maize sticks - came in ready salted and salt n vinegar flavour? not around as much they used to be

Proper Cadburys Mini Eggs too - they've changed them and not the same but will do in a pinch.

YY to cadburys mini eggs. They used to be rather lovely, now chewy & sickly like all the rest of their waxy fake chocolate crap. Not worth eating even if someone gives them for free. Cadburys chocolate need to die a quiet & dignified death since the takeover. Or, get bought out & revert back to all the original recipes!

ConkerBonkers · 02/02/2021 16:30

Another vote for cadburys spira chocolate bar. I really liked revels when they had peanuts and coffee creams in them...not so fussed about the new mixture they have now.

ConkerBonkers · 02/02/2021 16:31

Phileas Fogg crisps. They were amazing! They had a kind of pastrami onion bagel thing, awesome mini garlic breads. So delicious!

Beamur · 02/02/2021 16:35

You can still get iced gems. I love those maize sticks too. Would like a bag right now..

ConkerBonkers · 02/02/2021 16:36

Ben and Jerry's everything but the kitchen sink. It had chocolate and vanilla ice creams, caramel cups, peanut butter cups, and marshmallow, plus some white chocolate in there. Best ever!

Prawn cocktail wotsits were heavenly

LookofEvaBraun · 02/02/2021 17:24

Tesco meat free hot dogs, they tasted just like the real thing. They sell Fry's vegan hot dogs but they don't have the same flavour or texture.

Santaiscovidfree · 02/02/2021 17:38

Tesco have ruined our family picnics forever! We even took a one gas burner and made hot dogs in the sand dunes last winter for ds's birthday!

Terry 's Moments! Yes, I remember those and for a while had thought I must have dreamed them so glad someone else remembers! I loved them. Wasn't there also a mountain one they did, looked like a mountain range with white choc snow on top?

Terrys Pyramints
Terrys Choc Orange as it used to be

Sainsbury's potato triangles ( tastes like buttery baked potato, were a yummy). Think Tescos down then also. The M and S ones not so good.

Phileas Fogg tortilla chips! So nice

Sainsbury's bacon Crispies. They were the texture of Sunbites but the flavour of bacon...nicer than Frazzled

When Pukka Pies had more filling in them! These days there is so little meat

When crisp bags were full, not half air!

I loved Ben and Jerry's Chubby Hubby. Peanut butter pretzel swirls. Netflix and Chill is similar though so am very happy they brought that one out

I miss Wimpy Bars! Loved their burgers and shakes and toasted bacon in a bap.

Wispa mint

Fuse bars

HyggaeHugger · 02/02/2021 21:16

Oh, also Cadbury's Mint Crisp, and Top Deck bars. Actually I have found a tiny newsagent a few miles from me that sells the mint crisp in a tiny tiny bar.

Those Cadbury milk miniatures that you used to put in a Woolworths slot machine for 10p

Fiddlersgreen · 02/02/2021 21:24

@HyggaeHugger I have a Wimpy near me!!

Oh, I thought they had all died out! Am glad there is at least one still around!

usedandabusedx1000 · 02/02/2021 21:39

Ready salted chipsticks
Double bars (they were a Red Nose Day thing for Sainsbury’s. God I loved them!
Drifters the way they used to be!
White chocolate aero
Disney bars

I can remember eating some crisps as a child that were plain/ready salted and they were a mixture of tubes and hoops in the same bag but they were really thin! Wish I knew what they were!

usedandabusedx1000 · 02/02/2021 21:41

Waitrose also used to do an extra milky milk chocolate bar in a light blue packet but they stopped it 😩

HyggaeHugger · 02/02/2021 21:42

Does anyone remember Tubes crisps? By Smiths, I seem to recall. Tube shaped puffed potato. Like wheat crunchies but no wheat

Red and green packets

GrrrrrrArghhhhh · 02/02/2021 21:45

M&S

Lemon sherbet squares (sweeties) were fab.. our whole family mourns them...

Deltas (potato triangle crisps/ cracker type things)

Chicken tikka sandwiches with a cucumber/ mint yoghurt dressing and crunchy lettuce...

They also used to do a stir fry deal where you could get paneer, jalfrezi sauce, spinach and lentils, and a rice (alongside the Chinese style noodle ones they still do)... it was divine...

GrrrrrrArghhhhh · 02/02/2021 21:48

There also used to be a round, smooth boiled sweet that had liquid in the middle? Various fruity flavours? Think they came in a box? Can't recall name and never see anything similar...

Herbiegerbie · 02/02/2021 22:01

@ThreeKneeRepeater

Mint cracknel chocolate bars. Full of crispy green stuff that went everywhere when you bit into them. Those triangular shaped M and S crisps which were buttery baked potato flavour. I have forgotten what they were called. Nutty bars. Findus Crispy cheese pancakes, always burnt your mouth as the cheese got red hot.
Those potato crisps from M&S were called Deltas! Absolutely loved them.

Also Supermousse, about 10 tubs stacked up in chocolate or strawberry flavour. Gorgeous.

Mourning the Sainsbury Taste the Difference Chocolate Orange cereal. I got addicted to it lockdown 1, then it disappeared off the shelves just before Xmas and never came back 😭
