Morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just having my usual silent cuppa, in the kitchen. I'm alternating between scrolling MN and watching the birds in the big sycamore at the end of the garden.

I'm giving myself until 10am to piss about on t'interweb then I'm off to get dressed.

Laundry needs doing & the downstairs floors need mopping. I'm going to bake dd1's birthday cake, so I can decorate it tomorrow, ready for Monday.

Dd2 wants to bake something too but I don't know what yet.

Dd1 will likely spend much of the day in her room, as usual on a weekend.

Later on, dd1's (reluctantly) helping to cook - she's 14 on Monday so I figured it was time she tried since dd2 is quite able in the kitchen.

I'd like to squeeze in either some crochet or read some of my book too. Probably crochet - I'm so close to finishing all the Among Us crewmates I've been making!

Still in bed. It showed last night and there's still a bit on the ground, so we're going to go for a walk and try to take some nice pictures.

This afternoon, I'm going to have a long bath, shave my legs (haven't done them for weeks, and I look like a Yeti) and paint my nails. Might do some sewing, or bake a cake.

This evening will be a takeaway and a film.

Snowed

Making pizza sauce whilst 4yo chases around his deflated birthday balloons from a few weeks ago. OH is putting clean clothes away.

Maybe teaching 4yo to ride his bike again later if we can all be bothered with the drama of it 🤫 and then homemade pizza this eve (and a glass of wine!)

I'm in the kitchen crocheting a 5 strand braided headband while dd does and online dance lesson, dp sleeps and the dog whinges as he won't wee in the garden.

Need more printer paper for next week so need to pop out for that today and some bread and eggs.

Would like to bake a chocolate beetroot cake too

Day of house chores including sorting out the pantry. I think I’m overflowing in tins of baked beans.

The front room needs a thorough dust and clean. Difficult to do during the weekdays as dd does her homeschooling in there .

Might need to go out at some point for some fresh air and pop into local butchers.

Still in bed but getting up soon. No plans other than going for a walk and possibly having a takeaway tonight. I'm in the middle of a Lego project so might do some of that at some point.

Just watching an episode of Gardeners World which is so comforting and giving me inspiration to have a tinker round the garden. We'll go for a walk before lunch and then we need to tidy up the workshop. We're moving the benches around to make it a bit more comfortable for Dh to do some more work at home. Once I'm up and about thus morning I'm going to try and leave my phone alone this weekend and read a bit more or practice my crochet.

Me and little DD about to get in the hot tub, everyone else is still asleep. Told DH he can sleep til lunch because I have a whole list of jobs for him this afternoon so he will need the energy! DD has a zoom dance class at 11 so I'll get her up before I put the baby down for her nap then after she finishes we will probably curl up and watch a movie. Already cleaned the house top to bottom yesterday afternoon and up to date on home school for once so can relax today. Making pasta bake for tea then date night with DH so the kids are having an early night like it or not!

I’ve got some yarn to pick up from the shop at 11am. I’m using up my stash, however I’ve run out of the colours I’m using for this project 🙄. This afternoon I’ll be crocheting and DH will be working because he was locked out of his work account all day yesterday so needs to catch up.

I’ll probably live dangerously and put the washing machine on too!

Waking up with a cup of tea, while cooking sweet potatoes and sausages to take off for a picnic in the park.

The sky is blue (ish). Looking forward to the fresh air and not working this week after being madly busy. Mind you, have to do some tax tomorrow...

Still in bed, kids pottering about. Need to pick up a table from a garden later and it's near my favourite butcher so I'll grab a few bits for the freezer and tomorrow. I've my nanny coming for dinner tonight and were doing a raclette party. I'm not sure it's strictly allowed but she's here 9-5, Monday to Friday with us anyway. Difference is she can relax and not be in charge of the kids while having a glass of wine. But it feel like a bit of normalcy and we'll treat it like a big social event with a tablecloth and champagne to start😂

How I long to say football practice, lunch in a local cafe then pop to sister in laws.

So still in bed. Boys are playing. They have pissed me off already - I was woken by eldest shouting at youngest for breaking the chrome book. It’s not they had no put charging cable in properly. May go for a walk depending on weather. Thing is it’s London and everywhere is so bloody crowded. Takeaway and film sounds an idea - one of the boys mentioned board games as we got a new one at Christmas. First I must shower - I’ve got in terrible habits at the weekend due to not doing anything.

Currently having my second cup of tea after a bacon sandwich. Kids are playing pretty nicely actually whilst I MN. Going to shower after my cup of tea, probably go for a walk/play in the (light dusting of) snow. I really should drag my bum out for run today... Will see... I was ill over Christmas and have basically become lazy since. Possibly a supermarket visit, although may put that for until tomorrow. Saturday evenings have now become movie time with popcorn with the kids so will do that this evening. Planning on watching the new episode of wander vision once DC in bed. With wine. Always wine. I need to fit some work in at some point but trying to ignore that at the moment.

Dd2 is doing her dancing on zoom and then after lunch dd1 has hers . I need to hoover car and clean it out a bit as got MOT next week . Might try and get a walk in too .

Still in bed. DD is at her dads until tomorrow afternoon, DH is downstairs making me breakfast . I have an afternoon tea delivery this afternoon and plan on doing bugger all for the whole day besides eating and reading. Absolute heaven

Woke at 8, had a shower, fed and cleaned out pets. Did a lateral flow covid test for work- negative. Coffee, hot cross bun for breakfast. Put a wash on, emptied dishwasher, nagged DCs to tidy up. Now back in bed about to have a nap-I'm full of cold and feel like poop. We have lots of nice things in the fridge for lunch, DD wants to bake a cake later so I'll help her with that. Film, puzzles etc. DCs can go out for a walk with DH. Bit of cleaning, probably bathrooms as they need doing most. I've been out at work all week so am happy to do not very much!

I offences, but everyone’s weekends sounds so boring (I mean that sympathetically!). Mine’s the same. Mopping the floor, going for our daily trudge along the canal and getting a takeaway for tea. Oh and DS (11) wants to watch Enola Holmes because it has Millie Bobby Brown in it 🙄.

Have a work zoom meeting @12... rescheduled from yesterday. Then I plan to deep clean the bathroom and cook a chilli for dinner. A walk is also on the cards. This evening I want to be all cozy in my dressing gown while drinking hot chocolate and reading books

Woke early and went for a walk via the bakers and grabbed a coffee for some much needed alone time. Will head out later with the rest of the family for a walk. Dinner at home and a movie. Probably the first Harry potter to celebrate my DC finishing the first book.

Woke about 6.30am - it’s snowing (NW).
Read until getting up at 9.00am then drove to DM’s to take her shopping.
Home now and sat in the conservatory having a brew and watching the snow fall.

It's snowing here so I've been looking at that out the window.
I'm drinking lots of coffee today and I'm making soda bread for lunch.
Meeting a friend for a walk and then cooking a fake waggas for dinner

Tea and toast and catching up on Corrie, dd talking on Facebook time to get friend. Later might sort out cupboard under sink !! Make brunch. Delivery roast coming tomorrow yummy.

I just ate some banana bread, sent the dts to the park to burn off some steam before it gets busy. I’m drinking a cup of tea whilst MNing.
DP is on his way to work so I might even have the house to myself
I will do a quick tidy up, strip beds etc and then go for a walk.
I’m actually excited about the impending walk as I’ve been self isolating again and it will be lovely to go out into the world.
