This is great! I’m not sure I fully understand what we are looking at but it’s great. How is this working OP? The science museum have thousands of unseen images and we get a random one? Sorry if it’s obvious to others. I’m not well so my brains not sharp this week!

It seems a shame if these amazing things are only shown once after the Science Museum has gone to the trouble of uploading them. Perhaps they will start the random sequence again when all the objects have had a viewing.

I think the idea is that they have worked out which of their digitised collection has never been shared to the internet before. You can actually view their entire digitised collection without using the randomised never seen before button via a different link. But this is much more fun, It's like digging for fossils, sort of, a tiny bit.
