@JessicaHyde I am so, so pleased someone else remembers the Mushroom Double Swiss.

There has never been a burger to match it

Babyroobs · 17/01/2021 18:56

And I also used to love the Gooseberry and kiwi fruit fruit corner yoghurts but they disappeared years ago.

Boots used to do an amazing diet bar in the 90s, it was like freeze dried strawberry with a dried yoghurt coating. Does anyone remember it?

ClinkyMonkey · 17/01/2021 18:59

There used to be Quorn fillets in white wine sauce which were delicious and great for a lazy dinner.

Muller strawberry yoghurt with little mini digestives. I've tried to recreate it, but that particular combination was perfect.

Toffee mallow eggs.

ChrissyPlummer · 17/01/2021 19:01

@flowerpotsandrain yes! It was called Yo-in. I loved it!

50but17inside · 17/01/2021 19:03

Ah @StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes beat me to it. I came on to say Vidal Sassoon shampoo and conditioner - was so luxurious and smelled divine.

Food wise, I still miss the lovely lattice sausage rolls in the tomato-ey pastry that Marks and Spencer sold in the 80’s.

Also the blackcurrant and glycerine pastilles that you could buy in a little box from the pharmacist in Boots - my mouth is watering just remembering them. They were probably for sore throats but I loved them

Boots botanics BB cream was just brilliant - why on Earth did they stop making that?

Carolina Herrera for men - the sexiest, classiest fragrance on the planet for men -discontinued. Just why???!!

my DM used to buy this stuff from I think Safeway that was called farmhouse brunch?

It was on the aisle where gravy and stuffing was and it was in a foil packet but in a box - it was like cubes of potatoes with egg and bacon and you fried it in a pan - I think I lived off the stuff as a teenager

LApprentiSorcier · 17/01/2021 19:16
