@EineReiseDurchDieZeit I make special trips to Wilkos for snaps. They still sell them!

userxx · 17/01/2021 20:45

@greeksalad

Natrel deodorant from the 1980s/ 90s! No other deodorant ever since has been as good

Yep, took me years to find another one as good.

Firevixen · 17/01/2021 20:46

Gino ginelli mint choc chip ice cream

catfeets · 17/01/2021 20:50

@LagneyandCasey a few years ago I was clearing out the top of the kitchen cupboards and found about 30 of those cupcakes in a tin. Must have been there a couple of years and they weren't even mouldy.

kennelmaid · 17/01/2021 20:52

Aqua Manda orange bath oil.

Wannabangbang · 17/01/2021 20:52

Yoyos (like viscount biscuits but much tastier)
Cappuccino aero bars
Party rings & iced gems before they mullered the original recipe and made them boring colours
Opal fruits (now starburst) but tasted better and contained lemon ones
Cadbury creme eggs before they ruined the recipe, they are now disgusting yuk
Mars Delight
Reisin
Original tasting lucozade in glass bottles
Cadbury caramel the way it used to taste in the 90s, tastes pants now, kraft needs to stop making the chocolate rubbish

catfeets · 17/01/2021 20:53

Spira
Heinz beans pizza
Asda custard ice cream
Tab clear

Wannabangbang · 17/01/2021 20:53

Dewberry bodyshop, it used to be divine

OppsUpsSide · 17/01/2021 20:54

Minced beef crispy pancakes

Feargalthecat · 17/01/2021 20:54

@WeAreHalfWayThere I remember there was one I used to buy around they late 80's early 90's from M&S. It was kind of fresh ready meal with pasta bows and mushrooms and a sachet of cream sauce you added as you cooked it. Delicious!

I'd like to see the limited edition coconut Toffee Crisp or the Cabana bar.

TheySeeHerRowling · 17/01/2021 20:54

M&S Deltas

bellsbuss · 17/01/2021 20:55

Damn autocorrect TOOTY FROOTIES

Wannabangbang · 17/01/2021 20:56

Herbal essences when they had floral bottles and smelt lovely and botanical from the mid 90s early 00s then they put them in those ugly bottles and they do not smell the same

bellsbuss · 17/01/2021 20:59

@peak2021 I buy orange kitkats in my local pound shop

Wannabangbang · 17/01/2021 20:59

Mingles chocolates, anyone remember them?

Giggorata · 17/01/2021 21:05

Yes to Bodyshop perfume oils. My favourite was Wood Musk.
Gregg's ham and cheese bakes.
Bombay Duck
Aldi's fruit compotes

TokyoSushi · 17/01/2021 21:06

Absolutely yes to a Spira, and also Bacardi Breezers, specifically the orange ones! You can occasionally get them in a supermarket on holiday but I've not seen them in the UK for years!

cantgetmyheadroundit · 17/01/2021 21:08

For the pp that said full sugar Ribena, I get that every week from Tesco!
And also whoever said Coke in glass bottles, I see that all the time too, in supermarkets.
Are you not in the UK?

PathOfLeastResitance · 17/01/2021 21:10

M & S buttered potato crisps.
Epic, just epic.

Smncandles · 17/01/2021 21:11

So many memories ! Yes to the Vidal Sassoon almond shampoo - it was the first luxury beauty product I bought .
I remember original lucozade with the crinkly orange wrapper being treated like medicine in our house. We envied whoever was sick enough to get a glass .
Does anyone remember a lemon cleanser and lemon skin tonic called something like 'Delph'? I can still remember how fresh it smelt

tigerbear · 17/01/2021 21:11

Those square chewy mint sweets with stripes, the same size and shape as Starbust.

Kiko rollerball lip balm / can’t find anything else like it.

tigerbear · 17/01/2021 21:13

@Smncandles OMG, yes!
It was sold in the chemist like some kind of proper medicine. The smell of it!!

HearMeSnore · 17/01/2021 21:14

Tigerbear I believe those were called Pacers. They disappeared around the time of the panic over "E numbers" so my guess is they contained something nasty. They were nice though.
