Similar to another thread: what do you silently judge people for?

What have you been judged for in the past?

I have been judged for my political opinions and also for feeding the cat too many prawns Grin

I was sworn at in the street because my 7yo was wearing shorts on a cold day. He was also wearing a thick coat, hat and gloves, and perfectly happy.
He has ASD and a sensory phobia of trousers.

I've probably been judged during some of his innumerable meltdowns but no one has been daft enough to say anything.

I've had stupid comments about my weight/ diet/ exercise. It's a balanced lifestyle.

At school I was judged for an unusual family background. And not being trendy, and generally just being me. I accept being me, I,'m mostly harmless Wink

Well, I’m sure I must be judged about some things, but I’m totally unaware of it. I don’t care what others think of me though. I’m not do anything immoral or illegal so other people’s opinions don’t matter to me 🤷‍♀️

definition of the verb judge
If you judge something or someone, you form an opinion about them after you have examined the evidence or thought carefully about them.

It could be either positive or negative.

Oh yes my older DS has ASD, with accompanying sensory processing disorder, tourettes, ADHD, dyspraxia and has a mental age significantly below his chronological age.

I have been judged every which way.

We sent him to a private school that has good SEN privision and got told we were immoral Tory-voting snobs and dumped by a friend who was also his godmother. That hurt.

Choosing not to have children
Not liking children
Being overweight and being underweight (Not at the same time Grin)
Earning more than DH
Disagreeing with male opinions and not shutting up and knowing my place
Having long hair when I was over 40
Wearing skirts that were too short
Driving a BMW

Given that all of those have come from in-laws, I could probably just have said 'Existing' Grin
