What do you silently judge people for?

I would say
Talking on public transport , wish they would be quiet.

OP posts:
GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 16/01/2021 14:24

Very fat women who wear skin tight leggings with short tops, so that they’re brandishing their massive wobbly bottoms in the face of Joe and Jane Public.

For the sake of decency, do please wear a longer top!

(You can flame me all you like, I don’t care.)

goldandazure · 16/01/2021 14:27

People who go on holiday to Cuba/Thailand/another long haul destination, only to sit round a pool for two weeks.

People who don't bring their bins in.

People who get engaged/have kids really quickly.

Patients smoking outside hospitals.

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 16/01/2021 14:30

People who can't go outdoors when it rains
Parents who can't take their kids outdoors when it rains!

MiddleClassMother · 16/01/2021 14:38

People who drive round the corner to school instead of walk, I can never park up even though I drive miles! Also annoys me when people leave their engines running...

maddiemookins16mum · 16/01/2021 14:41

From this thread I’ve discovered I am being judged for

Smoking (I judge myself for that though, it’s fecking disgusting)
Being fat
Not breastfeeding past about 3 days
Going on holiday to the same place (usually Croatia for me)
BUT THE WORST......
Net curtains....(mine are lovely and white btw, new last weekend).

Whodofthunk · 16/01/2021 14:42

I strongly agree with many opinions here, but I am also guilty of an equal number!

AlwaysLatte · 16/01/2021 14:52

People who overeat
Loud parenting for the whole shop to hear
Daily Mail readers
Tight pale leggings when people don't have the figure got them
People who use too much plastic
Swearing unnecessarily
People who get in your personal space, especially now
Men with clicky hills and ponytails
There's a mother in my son's class who ticks all the above boxes, except the last one, and she's very unpleasant, as it happens.

AlwaysLatte · 16/01/2021 14:56

Parents putting red bull in their kids school packed lunches.
Do people do that???!!!

WiseOwlRelaxing · 16/01/2021 15:02

Who gives their younh child red bull????

ivfbabymomma1 · 16/01/2021 15:21

@BonnesVacances to be fair I judge myself for those things too 🤣🤣

ShouldHaveCouldHaveWouldHave · 16/01/2021 15:29

@Kinlocrhum I hear ya bro

Bangable · 16/01/2021 15:58

@Janegrey333

Wish we had an Edit function.

People who watch any tv during the day.

Try swerving the lunchtime gin, no edit button necessary 🤷🏻‍♀️
WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 16/01/2021 16:04

Emmmmm no!

*There's concrete scientific evidence that babies who are breastfed have lower rates of ear infections, gastro infections, respiratory infections etc etc. It's a fact.

I don't judge people who choose not to breastfeed or can't, but don't deny scientific facts !!

I know there are studies, but the original comment is putting a massive spin on the facts, though. Lower rates (and how much lower?) does not mean that FF babies will almost certainly get sick, that BF babies will NEVER get sick or that babies who happen to be FF and get sick have got sick purely because they are not BF.

I'm also aware that babies who cannot be BF for whatever reason (including those with mums who simply do not produce any milk and those being brought up by recently-widowed dads) are guaranteed to get sick if they aren't FF and thus allowed to starve to death.

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 16/01/2021 16:05

Partial bold-fail.

Bangable · 16/01/2021 16:12

@Jaypreen

People who don’t wear masks - older people, especially, since surely they are at greater risk.

People who wear masks wrongly

People who come too close in an enclosed place or anywhere, actually

People who day trip in our conservation village - who have no right to be here. I can hear them now as they pass by outside

Judgemental people

Yes, aren't judgemental people awful ! Grin

@Janegrey333 doesn’t have a grasp on irony / is having a stab at humour Grin
Bangable · 16/01/2021 16:22

@Glitterinthegrey

Wow.. I've had such fun reading this thread, finding out how much I'm being silently judged 😁

TwoZeroTwoZero · 16/01/2021 16:23

I'm only 1/4 way in to the thread and I already recognise myself in quite a few posts! I wore a wedding dress that showed off my tattoo (though it was purple rather than white); I sent my dc to nursery when they were between 7-9 months old (they even went when I had the day off 😲); my dc stayed over with various relatives several times before they were 6 months; I'm obese; I post on Facebook; I'm not very ambitious...

Ah well. It's a good job I don't give a shit about what other people think about me really, isn't it!

LiJo2015 · 16/01/2021 16:28

Massive bows on baby girls- they just look totally daft. And earrings on babies.

HalfShrunkMoreToGo · 16/01/2021 16:34

@Icanseegreenshoots

Holiday kids clubs, particularly parents that use them every day, whilst all the other children are having fun in the pool and on the beach with their families. It makes me feel very sad and upset for them.

Holidays should be remembered by children for being fun, feeling loved and the happiest of times not spent with strangers that have not been vetted properly.

What parents have 13 weeks annual leave to use every year? Holiday clubs are a necessity for many not a choice.
LickEmbysmiling · 16/01/2021 16:41

Oh goodness, I also judge people who rage and moan about the daily mail, but usually read it 😂😂😂. I hate that high handed... I only read the guardian or BBC, so smug.

People that say everything is average! Mum within ear shot of her dc saying how average she was! And has no aspirations...

MrsMariaReynolds · 16/01/2021 16:45

Families who are obviously frazzled and snappy on a day out with their large brood of children. I wonder if things would be happier/easier if they just didn't have so many kids. Why make your lives harder? I say this as a smug infertile mother of one.

changedmynamelol · 16/01/2021 16:49

Begging for money on fund raising websites. Discretely or otherwise. It's not my responsibility to pay for what you want

AnxiousSM · 16/01/2021 16:54

People who shop in the supermarket at the moment as a family outing.

* There is nothing factual about saying breastfed kids don’t get ill ever, at all *

Genuine question but does or has anyone say they don’t get ill ever, at all?
