I would say
Talking on public transport , wish they would be quiet.

OP posts:
Jaypreen · 16/01/2021 12:36

Remainers / Rejoiners [just for a bit of balance]..

Jaypreen · 16/01/2021 12:38

People who don’t wear masks - older people, especially, since surely they are at greater risk.

People who wear masks wrongly

People who come too close in an enclosed place or anywhere, actually

People who day trip in our conservation village - who have no right to be here. I can hear them now as they pass by outside

Judgemental people

Yes, aren't judgemental people awful ! Grin

SlopesOff · 16/01/2021 12:41

People who wear masks under their noses. Have only seen it with younger people ( to balance out the older ones who don't wear them at all according to a PP).

Cattenberg · 16/01/2021 12:41

People who insist on clarifying their preferred pronouns after their name on their email signature.

“Emily Smith (she/her)” etc

It’s become common in my industry and it’s fucking tedious. I don’t even need it if I’m emailing YOU do I 🙄

There was one young, woke bloke in our organisation who did this. It didn’t catch on, and he’s stopped doing it now.

SlopesOff · 16/01/2021 12:42

People who beep their car horn and wait for someone to come out and get in the car. Just get your lazy arse out of the seat and ring the doorbell, some people are trying to sleep/are ill/have children they are trying to get to sleep.

@Iknowwhatudidlastsummer

I don't even understand how you can NOT READ? What the hell do you do instead? Watch tv in bed and all day long? But what do you do when you commute, when you are in hospital, when you travel? Aren't you just..bored? Don't you find anything interesting and worth reading about?

I genuinely don't get it.

Go online. So I read, but the Internet rather than books. I do read on holiday if I'm away and not just having time off at home, but that's quite a different thing.
SlopesOff · 16/01/2021 12:44

People who copy other user names rather than think of one for themselves. If you find it is taken you know it will cause confusion if you change it slightly (and makes you look like a dick for not getting your own).

It’s definitely mainly older people (mostly men) round here. It looks so slovenly and unpleasant.

copernicium · 16/01/2021 12:49

Smoking

Hun

"My world"

Giving pop to toddlers

Travelling and sitting in a resort for a week aren't the same

People who never walk their dogs

Noisy exhausts

People correcting each other’s behaviour on social media by being all goodie two-shoesish

Unless the OP starts another one. It's all she ever does.

Oh there'll be another flurry of these by the end of the day. OP never returns to them either. All v odd.

Don't be too harsh over the mask thing. They were after all, intended for people in sterile environments: laboratories, operating theatres and such like. Even then they had to be changed quite often if you yawned, sneezed or even talked.
cantdothisnow1 · 16/01/2021 13:05

I used to be judgemental of kids who had tantrums, picky eaters, parents who don't correct behaviour in public etc. etc. Then I had two autistic children.

The level of ableism on here is sadly not surprising.

why do you bother reading let alone commenting on a thread you find horrible?

I find it funny. Some of the judgements are against things I do or have chosen. I still find it amusing. No need to take everything so personally. I am even tempted to do something just to wind people up!

Sparklingbrook · 16/01/2021 13:11

Why would I not want to keep an eye on the crazy? Seems sensible to me.

Iknowwhatudidlastsummer · 16/01/2021 13:14

Pretty sure you don't need to read this thread to know that people judge chavy behaviour, selfish and lazy people, different parental decision, different fashion choices and so on.

What's amusing is the new and random ones Grin

A group outing of younger ones often seen in the supermarket here. Plus odd ones copying them.

Only seen a couple of older people without masks so far. Both men but one had it round his chin and shied away when I stared at him and the other had a genuine reason.

Yes I have been on MN long enough to know. Obviously now Covid has arrived that's put a new angle on these threads. Always adding to the MN Bingo card.
@BonnesVacances you would absolutely hate me 🤣
I doubt it. Grin They're just things I note, it doesn't mean I necessarily dislike them for it.

I admire you for that. It can't be easy from up on your high horse.
JaneJeffer · 16/01/2021 13:27

people who are fussy eaters
I have the choice of being fussy or being in agony with IBS so I judge people who judge what others eat!

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 16/01/2021 13:31

Not breastfeeding and then seek sympathy when DC gets sick. Duh

I think the same about people who put shoes on the table and then get surprised when a loved one suddenly drops dead; and those who refuse to eat their crusts and then complain about having straight hair.

It's all just good science!!
