What do you silently judge people for?

I would say
Talking on public transport , wish they would be quiet.

OP posts:
peaceanddove · 15/01/2021 21:37

People who don't read. I will continue to smile and be pleasant, but they are dead to me from the moment they announce they don't read books.

Poor grammar, either written or spoken. It makes me wince inside.

woodhill · 15/01/2021 21:37

@AmoElCafe

thought the shops were closed everywhere?

You thought shops were closed everywhere in the world?

Obviously I meant the UK.Smile
wonderwhatshappening1978 · 15/01/2021 21:38

I try not to judge.

I hate being judged.this try not to.

AmoElCafe · 15/01/2021 21:40

Sorry @woodhill, I didn’t realise that the poster had specified that she was in the U.K.

Oly4 · 15/01/2021 21:42

People who are pretty overweight. Horrible but true.
Parents who leave young babies overnight
People who feed their children really rubbish food
Kids on iPads in restaurants
People who only holiday in the UK

4cats2kids · 15/01/2021 21:45

Noisy eaters disgust me.

YoungBritishPissArtist · 15/01/2021 21:50

A pp a few pages back said ‘anyone who shops in Iceland’. If you look beyond the chips and sausage rolls they do a decent selection of frozen veg and even sell quinoa Wink

MAK93 · 15/01/2021 21:51

I have one I could get really flamed for...

People who breast feed children who aren’t baby babies anymore 😳🤯

mum2jakie · 15/01/2021 21:51

Vaping. It's like adults sucking on a dummy! I saw a senior manager with a vape and he really went down in my estimation.

AppleCinnamonVanilla · 15/01/2021 21:51
**@AppleCinnamonVanilla* sadly there is no shortage of these hyper sensitive blamers. They may not be full blown narcissists but they project their own shame on to those beneath them so* quickly it'd make you dizzy!

They don't project shame on to those they perceive to be above them. Only on to those who they perceive to be beneath them. This hierarchy exists in their head but if you didnt respect it by questioning them at some point or by defending a reasonable boundary (that they would accept from people they perceive to be !bove them) then they unleash 7 levels of hell on to you in their wounded rahe
Definitely @WiseOwlRelaxing.

And, not forgetting the fawning over the bosses, going over and above to make themselves look indispensable 🙄🤮.

Tazers · 15/01/2021 21:52

@NobodyPuttsBabyinCorner

Everything

I can usually nail someone's persona and interests by way they present themselves. It makes everything impossible to avoid judging!

But if you want specifics, people who:

Drive an SUV
Own a hot tub
Think they've 'visited' a country despite never leaving an all-inclusive resort
Gin drinkers
Display even the tiniest interest in reality tv
People with zero knowledge of the world, history, science etc
Brexit voters
Conservatives
Posting endless updates on Fb of all the 'must be seen' places they've been
Thinking 'gardening' is paving over the entire garden with slabs/astro turf
Mongrel (sorry 'pedigree') owners of cockapoos, labradoodles etc
Anyone with a Live Laugh Love type motif in their home
Like football

Basically.... feckless, uneducated, closed minded, narcissistic show offs

Some Tories are very highly educated though. So are some Labour voters. Just because you don't agree with Tory politics, doesn't mean they consider paving their garden to be gardening and know nothing about history 🤣.

I judge narrow minded bigots who like to live in an echo chamber.

Tazers · 15/01/2021 21:53

I judge people who think they’re middle aged at 35 plus. It’s so tedious and more and more people seem to be doing it. I’m 40 and still feel “young”. I think people often get to a certain age and just give up. No one should ever just stop wanting to live, as much as anyone can anyway (I say that as someone who has chronic disabilities).

Amen.

MAK93 · 15/01/2021 21:53

@YoungBritishPissArtist

Coincidence I’d post again below yours 😂

To be fair it’s very much a silent judgment! I haven’t been in Iceland for a long time! It really wouldn’t sway me either way about a person, I just wouldn’t bother going there for anything other than frozen stuff because you can get that from the normal super markets etc.

Just in judgmental jest 🤣

NoProblem123 · 15/01/2021 21:54

This is another really nasty thread.

Miljea · 15/01/2021 21:55

@HouseofBrieandBanter

I think that people who judge a lot are often insecure about themselves and need to find enough people to look down on so they can feel superior Grin

No, by and large they aren't. Really, they aren't! 😂

Horehound · 15/01/2021 21:55

Smoking especially in front of children. I just think the children have no hope of not smoking themselves as teens/adults if that's all they've known. It fucking stint, is expensive, ruins health, and is inflicted upon people who don't smoke...it's just the worst

Smiledwiththerisingsun · 15/01/2021 21:56

Bad grammar.

LizFlowers · 15/01/2021 21:56

@MAK93

I have one I could get really flamed for...

People who breast feed children who aren’t baby babies anymore 😳🤯

That is gross but I have to say I've never seen it, only read about it.
Smiledwiththerisingsun · 15/01/2021 21:58

@4cats2kids yes to the noisy eaters 😱

Pinetreesfall · 15/01/2021 21:59

@LH1987 don't panic I work full time. Both my boys are in nursery full time 8.30am-5.15pm 5x days per week. My youngest started at 8 months because I returned to work.
I miss them of course I do but needs must!
We treasure our weekends and holidays. You shouldn't be made to feel a bad parent for working jeez!

Tazers · 15/01/2021 21:59

Who are you, the grammer police?
Grammar

Brilliant @WorraLiberty 😂

Miljea · 15/01/2021 22:00
@TheWelshposter we inherited an aertex (spelling?) ceiling and it’s to expensive to fix so it stays.
You might be pleasantly surprised! Got rid of all of our Artex surprisingly cheaply.

Twinpeaksdancingman · 15/01/2021 22:01

Women who 'gift' their new man with having a baby - deal with the children you have already

Tenyearsgone · 15/01/2021 22:01

@Tazers

*Who are you, the grammer police? Grammar*

Brilliant @WorraLiberty 😂

That was a joke from MN though. Before you wake the dog,baby, neighbours up laughing.
Mammma91 · 15/01/2021 22:03
