I'll start (setting the bar pretty low here).....

Going to the dump to get rid of extra rubbish

Usual daily walk with hound

MacDonalds Takeaway (more for teens than me)

Takeaway coffee when on walk with friend (mind you don't get arrested now!)

OP posts:
MardyBicardi · 15/01/2021 16:40

Currently self isolating again, so can’t get out for my usual walks.
However...
Watching the neighbourhood cats have standoffs in the garden.
Leftover Christmas chocolate, fudge and Turkish delight.
Video calling my Mum.

@Chimeraforce

Sex
(Puts on best Mary Whitehouse glasses...)

I hope you're socially distancing while you do it.

Oral - 2m distance and you just talk about it.

NeonSparkle · 15/01/2021 16:43

Walks
Long baths
Watching netflix or YouTube in bed
The odd takeaway
Cooking a new meal from a recipe book
And unfortunately I really love smoking Blush

AdaColeman · 15/01/2021 16:43

In what Universe is chocolate ever a "non essential"?

36degrees · 15/01/2021 16:44

Working in an environment where you can open a window or have free rein over the heating.

FraggleShingleBellRock · 15/01/2021 16:48

I went for a blood test today and had strangers within 2m of me for the first time in 10 months. I was positively giddy with a mix of panic and excitement. Then burst out crying as I got back to my car. Just totally overwhelmed and I needed a lie down when I got home.

JaninaDuszejko · 15/01/2021 16:49

DH was in the garden yesterday with the DC while I was working in the attic. I had lots of fun throwing snowballs at them (I was too high for them to hit me) Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 15/01/2021 16:53

I've recently discovered Morrison's bakery. I have a Lidl at the end of my road and a Sainsbury's a mile away. But I need to have their scones that are 5 miles away.

Icanseegreenshoots · 15/01/2021 16:58

I will add this thread to my secret pleasures too. Love reading everyone's posts

Scarby9 · 15/01/2021 17:00

Zoom coffee with 3 friends 10.30 every Saturday.

devildeepbluesea · 15/01/2021 17:06

Chatting to all the dogs who don't understand social distancing on my runs / walks.

Zoom pub quiz - illicit because I use work zoom account and drink lots of wine.

Maccie Ds drive through. 2 so far since summer, I do like to ration my pleasures. Although takeaway deliveries of a more generic variety have also happened every few weeks.

Taking my diesel car for a longer, higher speed drive every 3-4 weeks. I have to do this or I get all the diesel filter warning lights flashing. Sometimes I combine it with a visit to farther flung friends. Motorways are wonderful at the moment.

Sex
This, if I could raise the necessary enthusiasm Grin
Tonkerbea · 15/01/2021 17:18

Buying whole milk instead of semi for my morning coffee, and a hazelnut syrup. Makes homeschool a bit more bearable. I like this thread. Grin

I stopped at Greg's outlet and got ridiculous amounts of imperfect (yet delicious) donuts, on the way back from dropping the car at the garage.

There's a Greggs outlet ????

We live in Newcastle, so we're close to the factory, not sure if they have them anywhere else. It's just the size of a corner shop but they do massive bags of caramel shortbread offcuts for 50p, or a boxes of not quite perfect donuts (ours had too many sprinkles) for £1. Also we arrived after 3pm, so everything was BOGOF, didn't realise until we got to the till, so now we have a mighty stash of donuts. It's amazing, but dangerous for my waistline.

Probably best there isn't one near me 😬
BogRollBOGOF · 15/01/2021 19:38

Industrial burger van.
Started going in May when driving to exercise was Okayed. I videoed the ecstacy on my DCs faces as they chomped in to their first bites of burger in 2 months.
McDonalds hadn't opened up then. Plus the queues are shorter than the drive-thru.

LividLoving · 15/01/2021 19:42

Husband just made me Vienetta and squirty cream.

WombatChocolate · 15/01/2021 19:50

Having longer lie ins at the weekend as there’s nothing else to get up and do.

Spending more on treats in the supermarket delivery - not spending on much else, and really trying to avoid leaving the house, so spending longer choosing when doing online supermarket shop and not just having the same every week as usual.

MaggieFS · 15/01/2021 20:09

Perceived wisdom locally seems to be that if it's in the borough it's ok... so I can go on a lovely river walk 15 mins drive away which is my nearest open space but I hadn't been doing.

Not my thing, but I had to get an M&S click and collect today and they've rearranged the store so pretty much all clothing is on the ground floor by the food hall now so I'm not convinced it's in the spirit of lockdown but you can shop clothes as normal.

Yes, yes to wine and chocolate in online orders.

I am definitely going to have to go to a farm shop next week. Possibly also a garden centre.

NannyGythaOgg · 15/01/2021 21:02

Building a snowman (as a 66 year old woman with not a child in sight)

Watching the not socially distancing goldfinches squabbling on the bird feeder and the cheeky blackbird knocking of the patio doors for his sultana ration.

Being able to fart to my hearts content at yoga class
Grin This, and muting the mic and heckling the pilates instructor when she says something idiotic (her grasp of anatomy / physiology is ... tenuous) or tells us to do something I can't do. I was saying to DSIS the other day that I'll have to be careful if we ever go back to real life classes.
