I'm having a bit of a sad day, twisted my knee in the snow and feeling a bit lonely. I want to watch something really funny to cheer myself up. Please send your recommendations this way.

Trains planes and automobiles or Im loving Schits Creek series on Netflix

I used to love Coming to America.

longtompot · 14/01/2021 23:02

Planes, Trains and Automobiles is brilliant, even now.

Another good one is Game Night.

CassandraCross · 14/01/2021 23:02

Another vote for Airplane! I watched it recently and couldn't stop laughing at the John Travolta/Saturday Night Fever dance scene, plus it's got some of my favourite lines - "and don't call me Shirley", "Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up smoking/drinking/drugs/glue sniffing"

Also Monty Python films.

Correction, it's called Silver Streak.

I'm also quite partial to This is 40 as well. Very funny. And it has Paul Rudd in.

cerealgamechanger · 14/01/2021 23:39

@LuckyAmy1986

Sure this won’t go down well but I really do find white chicks funny... or I did when I Last saw it years ago!

Hello friend! One of my fave films 🙈

cerealgamechanger · 14/01/2021 23:41

I can't believe no one's mentioned Mindhorn yet...

catpoooffender · 14/01/2021 23:45

Apart from the great ones already mentioned, I like Wedding Crashers, Old School, and Due Date.
