Be honest... do you think being a size 10 is more attractive than a size 14?

Just that... no offence intended it's just to settle an argument I'm interested in people's views. Let's say specifically you have an average / reasonably attractive looking woman of average height, do you think she will look better as a size 10 than she does a 14?

It depends on the individual. I’m on the larger side and my husband LOVES my curves. He’s never been attracted to someone with a small bum and no breasts. He’s not alone.
Then there’s my brother who married a tiny woman. To him she is perfection.
Just be who you are, the size you are and wear it with confidence.

In general, probably yes.
I, however, have never been smaller than 12 at the bottom. I’m 5ft10, large hips, boobs, relatively broad shoulders. At my skinniest, I was a small size 12. Needless to say, lockdown diet is not conducive to maintaining this size

Depends where you carry the weight and how that weight makes you feel.

To me as a bloke size is irrelevant (within reason). A good looking, confident woman is very attractive- her size just doesn’t come into the equation for me. Women can be attractive at any size, to answer the OP: if I had the chance to date identical twins but one was a 10 and one a 14, I’d go for the 14 every time.

Body wise yes. But there is more to being attractive than your body. Your face, hair, and even personality come into it.

But on purer visuals, a beautiful face on a size fourteen will always be more attractive than an average face on a size ten.

I do t see how someone with a big chest could be a size 10 on top though? I’m an 8/10 and if my DD borrows one of my tops she stretches it due to her DD cup chest. Unless she has a breast reduction, how could she fit into a size 10 dress?

She’s an athlete, size 12, broad shouldered and several inches taller than me. I don’t think she’s meant to be a 10 really.

Yes, I'm a size 8 and prefer to be. But I'm curvy, and my waist is size 8, my boobs fit into a size 12, and my hips a size 10.
I also like fit men. Round faces aren't attractive to me at all. It's just my preference.

It all depends on your waist-hip ratio. I think we unconsciously know what "healthy" looks like, and as this paper shows, looking at all cause mortality as the outcome, in women the greatest risk factor is higher waist-hip ratio, followed by waist circumference. Percentage body fat is much less important than these.

Fitted blouses would never fit (until I started to buy ones made for a big bust) but jumpers, jersey tops, T-shirt’s etc would fit

We are all attracted to different things and different characteristics. And, frankly, if the only thing that makes you attractive to a person is your dress size, you need to walk away.

At average height (5 ft 4) size 10 or even an 8 looks healthy and better no matter shape. But 14 can look amazing on hour glass shapes if you’re 5ft 6 and above.

Yes, definitely. I'm currently 12-14. Was 10 for years and much much happier at 10. At size 16 I was truly miserable, as in, shy of leaving the house, meeting new people etc. (I'm short, so 16 really was big for my height.)

Generally I think women look better at a 14 than a 10 but you have to factor in height.

For myself personally, yes. I look much better at a size 10 than a 14.
