...beef stew, chilli or a pie?

Am bored of the above. Have quite a well stocked cupboard. Just fancy something different!

Ideas welcome ☕🥐

Bbc good food has quite a few curry recipes

UnbeatenMum · 10/01/2021 10:01

Beef bourgignon is nice. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.

Burgers or meatballs?
Simply try beef with onion and put in a baked potato?

formerbabe · 10/01/2021 10:03

Beef rendang

Dizzywizz · 10/01/2021 10:03

A Chinese dish, like beef with black bean?

CarlottaValdez · 10/01/2021 10:04

Massaman or rendang would be my choice!

ghislaine · 10/01/2021 10:05

Kebabs?

BlackDogBlues · 10/01/2021 10:05

Curry. Or a tagine.

NoraNorth · 10/01/2021 10:06

Doing a curry later with the diced beef currently in the fridge

PLAYJAJADINGDONG · 10/01/2021 10:06

Ooh rendang could be good. I'm sure I have some tamarind paste in the cupboard.

Thanks for all the suggestions and keep them coming!

The suggestions of kebabs and burgers make me think the OP on the 97% of people cant cook thread may have a point.

Tagine

Few curry recipes in here op along with more interesting variations on pie/stew

As diced beef is a slow-cook meat (unless you don't like your teeth) there are limited options.

Grin

Beef adobo is a good store cupboard dinner. The below recipe is similar the one I use (sorry about the hideous background) and can be cooked on low in the oven/on the hob rather than in the slow cooker if you prefer

Stroganoff with mushrooms and low fat soft cheese with chives. Lovely and quite healthy

Not if it was diced steak. It’s probably not, but she doesn’t say.

@Honeybobbin

How would you make a burger or meatballs with diced beef? Confused
This
TheVanguardSix · 10/01/2021 10:28

With mushrooms, creme fraiche, and boatloads of fresh, lush dill is how I cook it. And a good dash of paprika and black pepper.

TheVanguardSix · 10/01/2021 10:28

And slow cook it. Diced beef wants a slow cooker.
