I brought a loaf of fresh bread from the bakery today as a treat over our normal supermarket loaf. It's twice the price at £2 a loaf but tastes soooo much better.

I'm tempted to make this a permanent bread arrangement.

Balsamic vinegar
Tea
Organic milk

I’m quite a tightwad, but I’ll spend extra on these.

I wouldn’t buy cheap processed chicken nuggets/burgers.
My big one is crushed or tinned garlic doesn’t taste the same and isn’t worth the money. It’s got to be fresh.
I like a certain type of cheese and anything else tastes cheap and fatty to me.
Extremely large Navel oranges but they have to also be cold.
Only certain brands of coffee.

Longley Farm butter - like expensive French butter, not watery like supermarket crap. It comes with Friday’s milk delivery and it is perfection.

Baron Bigod brie.
Meat from local butcher (not that we eat much)
Seabrooks crisps
Sourdough loaf (cheesemonger sells it) - costs £3.50, lasts me a good fortnight. Perfect toast for my poached eggs.

Fresh eggs (from our hens)

Organic eggs, organic fruit and veg. I once bought an organic cabbage. It was an extortionate price but we finished the whole thing over a few days and it was delicious. Normally 3/4 of a cabbage remains in our fridge till it goes off.

President or Kerrygold butter
Odysea Balsamic
Sourdough bread
Hovis Granary bread
Thomas Fudge's Florentines
Green & Black or Twinings hot chocolate
