What things do you LIKE that most people dislike

Saw a similar post so thought it would be interesting to do the opposite

Mine are:

Winter
Rain
Early mornings
Riverdance

Self isolating.

Dogs jumping up at me.

Motorway driving.

Cold water
Being alone
Trains
The colour orange
Public speaking

Oh and also the smell of tarmac being laid, new carpet, new vinyl, fresh paint, and (within reason, and outdoors) silage and horse poo. And sawdust. And the London Underground.

As in the smells of all those things.

I like a proper central room light with a bright bulb

None of this dim, atmospheric lighting for me, I like, to be able to see!

Oh definitely silence and being alone. Eating out alone. Very cheap crisps (those 20p cheesy ones and space raiders and happy shopper crisps) mopping, hanging laundry, Fray Bentos pies, living in a very small house alone (sadly haven't achieved that), changing nappies (I love making them all clean, dry and comfy) and I loved childbirth! (The easy bit. The actual children I find quite difficult. )

Supermarket food shopping. Obviously, with COVID, I've not done much of it these past few moths and we've been doing online orders for years anyway, so I rarely get to indulge

I love cheap plasticy chocolate.

Some is better than others but yes! I’ve had some DREADFUL food but also some amazing food.

I like stuff with a bit of a chewy doughy texture in foid. Eg boild gnocchi. People talk about this texture as a criticism! But I like it.
