You're not missing out on much other than Gloucester and it's older sibling Tebay which is a bit out of the way for anyone not venturing beyond the Lake District to Scotland (or t'other way round)

When we go towards Cornwall, we swerve Gordano and head off to NT Tyntesfield so the kids can have a good romp. The cafe is similarly priced to motorway services but far far nicer!

Ooh Tyntesfield is on my list, it looks lovely! Think it might be a pain on public transport but I can't remember.

Service Stations aren't that exciting AcornAutumn, but given the alternatives available at the moment, they are probably the next best thing to Barnum and Bailey's

I wonder if the Boris thing is about pubs not being able to do takeaway pints anymore? Was that mentioned in yesterday's briefing? I can't understand how they are expected to make any money at all if they can't even sell alcohol...and there aren't that many jobs available. (I'm teetotal so not exactly going to be using them anyway but it is unfair the way they are treated)

Especially because that is just WRONG! And stupid!

According to Google maps Beaconsfield services are 1hr 20 mins away. I might be tempted that far for very special fine dining with an overnight stay but I m not so sure for a service station.

This really wound me up on an aquaintance’s Facebook, she posted a status, saying no wonder we are in this lockdown as there are people out everywhere!
She was out all the time when it was allowed, sticking her face against other people for photos and attended a birthday party (when it wasn’t allowed with around 30 guests) She can do as she pleases, but why has she suddenly decided it is her business what everyone else does 😡 especially as she was out herself!
Someone asked her where she had been as they saw nobody not complying and she deleted it.
